In about 2 hours my small town in the Netherlands, Spijkenisse, is about to be reached by the Tour de France. I'm Gonna be on the big red bridge watching them come by!
Watch it!

Tie a piece of rope to one side of the road and and wait on the other side with rope in hand. When the cyclists come your way, pull the rope taught.

They just came by Spijkenisse, group of 3 broke off with a 5+minute lead. Peleton (english?) went very slow compared to them. Was awesome!

Well, this etappe started in Rotterdam, I was about a good half hour away from that. The notable recognisable point was the big red bridge (Spijkenissebrug).
Was about 60 seconds between them passing the bridge and them riding past me, on the Spijkenisse side. 
 
A Dutchman, a Belgian and a Bask were the 3 in the lead. A good 3-4 minutes between them and the peleton. Regretfully the cameras didn't catch my <>.
I tried Giantbomb.... I tried.

Anyone else remember that 80's song from Kraftwerk, Tour De France?  Man, that takes me back...anyway, I guess the real one coming through is kind of cool.
