I really liked the first one on the Wii (minus the horrible jumping and camera controls), so I was really interested how the second one would turn out being ported to the PS3. I still really enjoyed it, the animated cut scenes are extremely well done and funny and the simple joy of just painting things is unmatched. Plus, they added some really fun power-ups. Same as the last one, though, I felt that each level was a bit too long--- of course, that might be my fault in wanting to color EVERY SINGLE THING-- but it was taking me around 1-1.5 hours for each area. The wall jump mechanic could get annoying as well when you were sticking to walls when you really didn't need to and there's no way to get off the wall other than to wait it out.
Overall, though, still extremely glad that I bought it. Sorry for the mini-review.
I really haven't had any grand experiences with albums released this year SO FAR; I don't think it's been all that great for new releases. I don't know, maybe I'm not feeling as adventurous in respect to listening to new artists or what.
But so far, if I had to pick five:
St. Vincent - Strange Mercy The Weeknd - House of Balloons They Might Be Giants - Join Us Kishi Bashi - Room for Dream EP POLYSICS - Oh! No! It's Heavy Polysick!!!
