Probably SSFIV. I love it so much. It has a ton of characters to learn and they all feel unique. It's also responsible for getting me back into fighting games.
I haven't, which is really sad because I'm still buying PS2 games. I recently picked up Gitaroo Man and I've been dying to play it. I also really need to finish my playthrough of Persona 4.
How can you own or disown that which does not exist? There is no PSN. It's not like people are mad at PSN itself, or its content. They are mad simply based on the fact that it doesn't work.
I don't really care for them. It isn't because they're terrible, it just feels like content I could get anywhere else. What makes Giant Bomb awesome is the personality it imbues into what it does. Sadly, Quick Looks with developers, etc., seem to lack that quality.
I really enjoy all of the games on that list. However, SSFIV just feels the most polished and fleshed-out. The roster is undeniably great, so many characters, yet still so balanced. The depth of the game is what keeps me coming back, learning each new character feels different and uniquely rewarding.
It has been sad that there has been a lack of content lately. However, these guys probably have an overwhelming amount of stuff on their plate at the moment. I'm sure we have no idea what's going on with the crazy E3 plans that they are definitely knee-deep in. There has probably been a lot of stuff thrown off kilter due to the servers being down as well. Giant Bomb isn't a well-oiled site that has been around for 15 years. Think of how young they are, how much they're experimenting and figuring out what works. These guys are own their own, and they've done right by me so far. I have faith that they sincerely want to continue to give us good content.
Sure, all of the other video game podcasts are talking about the PSN being down, the new Nintendo console, Mortal Kombat, and Portal 2. But how many of them are talking about Tony Hawk's Proving Ground. Game Brief, folks. We're here to talk about the topics you care about. I guess we'll probably touch on the other stuff too.
