Always have I been a gamer, but today I start a new chapter in my life: Blogging. I guess I'm not sure what to write about, but here goes.
Moved into an apartment with my 3 buddies this summer and it's going great. We sure know how to play our vidya, what with 2 PS3's, 2 N64's, a PS2, 2 XBOX 360's, a Wii, and even an FC Twin for the Mega Man 2 and Yoshi's Island/Super Mario World binges we go on. I'm proud of the way our 54" TV looks next to all of these consoles. Alas, it's not so pretty, however, when you flip on the screen and notice how all the corners are faded out and the video blurs up a ton (it's an old, old, OLD TV). But it is a TV, which is something we would not have had at all were it unavailable or not free. Here's thanking our lucky stars it was free. So everythig's set up and we've got ourselves settled in.
I'm also happy to announce that 2 of my roommates and I are going to be starting a... *drumroll anyone?* podcast. Never have I been more excited about this project. As my newest roomate moved up from Alabama, he gets to this apartment and one the first things he hits me with is the idea of this podcast. It's going to be about some vidya, of course. Every week we'll release an episode with the three of us reviewing a game that we just played through together. Pooling the minds of three individuals and giving an honest review of these games. The key word here, is honest. We are certainly a very picky group of gamers. Myself easily included. Hopefully we will release the first episode in a week or so. It is going to be really exciting, and I can't wait to start! We have a final decision on what the first episode is going to be, too! If you'd like to know what it is, though........ you'll have to listen to the episode when it comes out. We haven't decided on a name for the show yet, but rest assured that it will be a good one. Can't wait to get started!
That's all the big news I have for now, but I plan on doing this often, so keep an eye out, and check in on me. With this podcast getting started soon, I look forward to gathering some followers. See ya next time.
