Spoilers Obviously
Ok, I'll bite. I fell for the hype for this game, and I don't know why. I really didn't like Bioshock 1 all that much either, although I can't remember much about it except for the terrible combat, stupid last boss, and the twist. I'll at least give Infinite credit for having sufficient combat. However the story is no where near as mind blowing or revolutionary as some people are going on about. It's a giant cop out and a twist just for the sake of a twist. Everything about the ending is forced, and just because they allude to it from the beginning doesn't make it less so. Booker Dewitt literally has video game amnesia, and we're praising the game for the story??? It's such a cheap way to get your ending across. Not only that, Elisabeth is somehow a god that can consolidate all the universes of her choosing. Killing this Dewitt somehow translates to killing off all Dewitts in a multiverse, but only the bad Dewitts? I don't care how much window dressing you have, it just sounds like a plot McGuffin to me.
