I'm an idiot... in 3D!

I have been a hard-sell on 3D as a whole. I don't enjoy it at movies, and I'm not really interested in the home console equivalent either.

But hot damn, I want a 3DS badly. The damn thing looks like a souped-up DS, and it doesn't seem much stronger than a PSP either, graphics-wise.

But I want, nay NEED Zelda in 3D. Oh Nintendo, why can't I quit you?

Day Two: Still No Sign Of Jesus

I barely slept at all. I wanted to come back. I HAD to come back.

A user-friendly place to build a profile, post on forums, keep a blog AND update my knowledge of useless video game trivia while making my own contributions??

Yes, please.

On another note, Wii really isn't looking so hot right not, and that sentiment is being echoed throughout a lot of gaming communities, this one included.

That lackluster E3 conference didn't help, but I think it's also the fact that many of the Wii's lofty promises simply aren't coming through, coupled with the console's increasingly crippling hardware limitations. The console was very inexpensive at launch, but if I keep having to buy more peripherals to get the full experience, it's going to start adding up.

True, none of them are really necessary, but it's still undermining the simplicity and accessibility Nintendo touted before launch. With every new peripheral, Nintendo hypes the crap out of it, really giving the impression that you NEED the balance board, Zapper, Wii Wheel, MotionPlus, etc to get the experience they originally intended with the console.

Honestly, I'm starting to wish the console was a bit more expensive and took a little more time to develop, because this little bugger is starting to look more and more premature.

But hey, still love Mario Galaxy!

Day One: The Writtening

So a friend IMs me out of nowhere proclaiming "stop looking at porn and check out Giant Bomb!".

Not knowing how he knew I was looking at porn (I should probably consider turning my Xbox Live Vision off once in a while), I decided to check it out.

Three tissues and a few clicks lately, here I am. Excited, confused, aroused and oddly craving guacamole.

Long story short: I have no idea what I'm doing here. But hey, beats trolling the interwebs for Yu-Gi-Oh fanfiction (don't you DARE judge me...).
