Home Alone on NES. I remember I was with my mom at a movie store and saw it and begged her for it. I got it home, ripped it out of the package and even as a 9 year old i knew how bad it was. My mom went back to the store and threw a fit trying to return it and she couldn't so as punishment she made me play it for the rest of the day. It was like $50 and I remember her yelling that she was gonna get her moneys worth.
Personally I like the idea, sigs always bugged me, but why do I feel like if he would have said they are going to allow sigs, most of the same posters would be like "Oh, I think you are right, sigs are a great idea"? Buch of kiss asses, Im just sayin :)

I know but both are franchises that are being tinkered with and moved in new directions right now. I would have said stale, but that is truly a matter of judgment
What about Castlevania? I just can't figure out what would be done with it cause every time they try something new it doesn't work out well (see Castlevania 64). Maybe a return to form like Mega Man 9?
So with all the talk of reinventing franchises (Halo, MK, KotoR, Mega Man, Street Fiighter) what franchise do you think needs a facelift and what would you do to change it?
Personally, I say Metroid. The prime games are alright, but I just want something different.
In a way I hope that no games get advertised on this site. i know it would be strange but just fill it with like G4 and Energy Drink advertisements. keep it clean.

I actually choose Microsoft and play my 360 more than anything. The M$ thing? Old habits die hard I guess.
I have been reading Nintendo fans saying that M$ riped off the Mii's. M$ fans point to Sony taking Live and bastardizing it. Sony fans just can't stand when games like GTA or FF appear on other systems. Oh and by the way, M$ is apparently stealing from Home too.
Guess what people, M$ didn't invent online gaming. Nintendo didn't create the avatar. Sony didn't invent the idea of a virtual world (in fact, I have seen no proof they will ever have one :) ).
Point is, everyone steals from everyone else. If there wasn't "The Godfather" there would be no "Goodfellas" or GTA. If there wasn't a superman, we wouldn't have X-Men or Spiderman. It's what makes the world go round. It's a smart move to incorporate something successful into your product.
Would you say that Live is just a Xband rip off? Is the Wii just a souped up Magnavox Odyssey? No, then everyone needs to get over it.
