@spitz1000: That is probably one of the best designed kits I've ever built. It is relatively simple to build, but those funnels on its back will not stay attached for long unless you do some modifications. There are also a lot, and I mean A LOT of water slide markings (basically a decal you have to cut out, soak in water, and transfer onto the kit) which aren't that beginner friendly, but you can completely ignore those if you want. It also has a weird and unnecessary in my opinion transformation gimmick that is a little tricky, but you can ignore that and it is perfectly fine. Posing is the hardest part all due to those funnels on the backpack falling off.

If you don't mind putting a piece of tape across the inside of those back funnels to hold them together, and don't feel like applying the huge number of water slide markings, it shouldn't be too hard, just be prepared to spend a lot of time on it. As for tools I really recommend the set Austin used in the GOTY video, I started with the same set awhile back, you can find it on Amazon. It has virtually every tool you need and them some.

@atwa: I usually buy from Hobby Link Japan when I order online (shipping prices can get a little high, they ship from Japan), but it's also worth checking out Amazon and comparing prices to hobby sites, you can often find good deals there. Also Barnes and Noble have been stocking Gunpla pretty recently, but their stock is pretty limited and not all locations carry it.

I just got the Day 10 envelope and it got a good laugh out of me.

They bought a private island in Maine and gave everyone a small section. The envelope has a little flag for you to write your name on and place on that island.

If it's the part I think it is you need to go to where Black Mask shot an engineer. Right around there you should find weak spots in the floor to blow.

The map in this game is an absolute clusterfuck.

I had to dissect a few smaller animals in middle school, stuff like worms and frogs. In college is where it got gross, but the only one I can really remember is digging into a cow's head.

Don't obsess over writing perfectly in the first go through, finish your idea and go back to it later. I've gotten burnt out on so many projects by rewriting parts I didn't like over and over again.

If you have a rough idea of what you are going to write, make an outline. Basically make it as easy as you can to finish something, that's the hardest part.

Call me when they do Progsmith.

fuck yea, i'd definitely lay down some cash for some Mars Volta or Yes dlc! they threw in some Rush dlc last time, so I really hope they add some cooler stuff down the line.

Is the DLC from the previous game compatible with this one (a la Rockband)?

Yup, with new techniques added as well.

If you aren't going to take classes it's be a long road, and most people end up giving up. When I first started I picked up so many bad habits because I was figuring it all out myself. Youtube is full of people giving guitar lessons, so that is one way you could go.

If you do want to get into Rocksmith as a tool try to pick up the bundle that comes with a guitar, I've heard it is a decent beginner guitar and you can find it for under $200 now. Rocksmith should not be the only way you learn, it's tutorials are basic and it never really tells you what you are doing wrong. It is a good supplement though, and it will build your confidence by letting you play songs at your own pace. Plus it has a built-in tuner, which is one less accessory you will have to worry about at first.

But the one thing that really helped me out when I first started playing guitar? Go buy a chordbook with your favorite songs in it and practice it every day. Nothing is going to top good old fashioned hard work.

The songs they have announced so far are pretty different from what was in the first game too. I never would have expected Bob Dylan or B'z to show up.
