Lol yeh, that was really weird in RE4. Its a big problem as theyre trying to remove the claustrophobic feel of the older REs, but unfortunately zombie encounters were always IN claustrophobic spaces in movies......or at least thats where there was suspense.

If the granados are aware of themselves and are as smart as theyre made out to be (You see one giving orders in RE4) then they could have had them be like the 28 days later type really fast zombies, while allowing you to move. I mean slowly RE IS turning into a shooter. RE1 may have had clunky controls but really you got used to them to enjoy the gameplay.

I personally thought that stopping to aim and shoot slowed the pace down a bit, other wise youd be flanking the zombies and tearing them apart instead of them going around you.

I remember how hard crash 1 was. And Papu papu.....

CTR was also one of my fav games, I liked the singleplayer and how it mirrored other crash games.......except it was kart racing.

The guy who plays L in the Death note live action movie. Obviously his hair will have to be changed

But really I think that a FF movie would have to be animated. Advent children didnt have a plot or story, but the action was kicka$$

I think the platforming is great in first person but all theyve perfected is grappling and jumping.

If it was in third person maybe they could do like more screww jumping stuff, the morph ball would be exactly the same and they could do some awesome dodging and rolling animations and itd be awesome to be like fighting neo Kraid or something, and he shoots a spike and you like dodge to the side. I remember those cutscenes in MP when a boss appears, it shoots something and samus dodges to the side and it switches to first person.

They could do like more kind of rebounding, hanging on to ledges stuff.

The most recent Crash bandicoot game Ive played was Wrath of Cortex.

I remember loving hits series, My friend had one and wed do that uper long pwd cheat to get allthe levels except the lab, and versing Cortex. And I remember wed try to beat the lab all the time then one day I beat it and we died cos Cortex killed us but it was all good cos we passed..........the lab.......

Anyway Crash 3 was amazing, that and spyro dominated a part of my childhood and man, when jak and daxter came out I loved that game. man, it was like an open world crash bandicoot game, with different stuff to do.

Anyway Ive been dissapointed witht he latest crash offerings, I played that one after wrath of cortext for like 5 minutes and went nah.

Theyve changed it too much, but then I went and played crash 3 and it was way too old. So my conclusion is that they can never make a crash game satisfactory now, and likewise for spyro.

Naughty dog and Insomniac are just too good with their properties.

"I personally find very little in the likable qualities area, but Cloud also foregos anti-heroism based on his completely androgynous personality.

Now I know anime culture is big into these qualities, but come on.  Cloud's story is as two dimensional as a Mega Man 2 sprite and the story he plays a major role in has plot holes you could drive Death Stars through.  So why, ten years later, are people clamoring for the guy with the obnoxiously long sword and the lie of a personality?
"
Well hes the archetypal shakespearan hero with the fatal flaw. His flaw is that he has a fabricated past and is trying to run away from the fact that hes not good enough to join SOLDIER or whatever. I dont think his character is two dimensional as it is that theyve just told very little to avoid contradicting themselves or something.

I disagree that hes androgynous, he does seem to be the typical gruff male with a disfigured past and something to hide. Also Im not sure that people are clamouring for Cloud, more for the whole FFVII experience.

A third person Ratchet and clank sort of approach for the next Metroid game?

I really like the feel of the 3D metroid games and how they did some cool interactive stuff with the visor, but if they take it into third person it could lend itself to some better platforming. I think the MP series does the first person platfroming really well but looking at the new Bionic commando I think that if they went for a third person with over the shoulder aiming system it could change the way it plays.

For instance they could implement quicktime events.

Nobody probably wants to talk about this but...

SHould Link have in the next Zelda game?

I reckon he should stay silent, I think they do a decent job of conveying his emotions through his facial expressions and stuff. The thing is if they do voice acting and its like slow rpg like back and forth dialogue then its boring to listen to.

If however they cut camera angles and pace it like GTA or soemthing (I know they wont) then itll be more exciting. THink about it, Two characters standing, and ones talking, then the other, then back again., its boring. They need some drama, they need some guy threatening Link and Link cuts in and tells him to watch himself or soemthing  Unless they have a seriosuly deep plot or story to tell then I dont really think that itll really help the game taht much.

But really I dont mind playing the same Zelda formula over again, so long as they put a good story into it. IM saying that now but I havent played one in a long time so,......
