You can buy a steam key from Amazon for £28.

I ended up taking a risk on the retail disk because I got it for £23 from GAME (coupon code 'costumes' plus credit).

I have some spare codes to give away to whomever wants them, they are all for the PS3 version.

UPlay Passport: MMMM-BENK-3C48

Benedict Arnold (60 minutes of singleplayer gameplay): LJE3-TGNR-M3HF

A Dangerous Secret (Singleplayer Mission "Sinking a Secret" and Pirate Flintlock Musket weapon): THN8-2ENT-HP7M

Hope someone gets some use out of these.

unlocked 2 achievements, pressed guide button, both times achievements weren't unlocked....weird.

Same thing happened to me and a friend of mine. I guess it's a common bug. Strange one.

Who's been waiting for Max Payne, again? I remember playing the 1st or 2nd in a gaming cafe. Liked it but didn't finish it...

Me.

I just loaded the game up again, and it was sorted, pretty much. I can now equip things to either hand, it's still kinda weird though. The game gets confused with what hand you're trying to equip to.

The whole interface is kinda strange. Like, on that "cross" menu, which allows you do select Items, Magic, Skills... why is items on the right, but the item menu then opens on the left, and the magic option is one the left, but the magic menu opens on the right?

Is anyone else having problems with their PC controls?

In the inventory primarily, some of my keys do nothing. For example, it says you can click the right mouse button to assign a weapon to your right hand. I can't do this, only the left click works, so I can only assign to my left hand. I also can't use R to drop or F to favourite like it says either.

Anyone else get this?

Pretty much anything Merrill says, but here are two of my favourites.

  • Merrill: Ser Pounce-a-lot... who knighted him?
  • Anders: Is that a serious question?
  • Merrill: Did he have a little sword, or just his claws? I bet he had a dashing cap with a feather in it!
  • Anders: Would you stop making fun of my cat?
  • Merrill: Oh... no hat, then?

  • Merrill: If you could do anything - just anything at all - what would you do?
  • Bethany: That's easy. Be normal. No magic, just... normal.
  • Merrill: Really? You wouldn't fly across Thedas or eat a cake the size of Kirkwall? Keep a baby griffon for a pet?
  • Bethany: Well, now that you say it, the griffon might not be so bad.
  • Merrill: I'd name mine "Feathers."

Nah, that'd be frustrating, you'd die every 10 minutes and fall out of the sky randomly.

Does the T-Shirt say "LA Noire T-Shirt" on it? I hope so.

@Regal: What? Surely if there's stuff missing from the game it'll make your OCD friend explode, or go on some sort of rampage?

I really don't like when companies do this. I know that most of the stuff will be rubbish and not really worth getting hung up about, but it's still not cool.

I guess it's the retailer's idea. Rockstar has nothing to gain by doing this as it doesn't matter to them where people buy it. So I assume the retailers ask for exclusive content? In return for what, advertising?

No, sir, I don't like it.
