@zevvion: I watched the raid streams so I know what goes down. I didn't get back into Destiny until about 3-4 months ago. I had the game at launch and was super unhappy with it. which was my own fault. I went media-dark on it after the first or second time they were on stage and didn't know it had completely changed from a story about knights defending earth.

Jesus, it's 360 now? I feel like I've been stuck at 312 for ages. Then again I don't play PvP and usually just run around solo so I've never done the raids. Maybe I should just drop out now

@jesus_phish: Gall made about $30K. He was asked about it and he was pretty level headed. He said Punk is a superstar that brought in buys and without Punk he wouldn't even been in the UFC. He already has his next fight lined up and that was his third fight (second in the UFC), he knows his big payday will come

@artisanbreads: I think a lot of Sage's personality comes from his stage dad. The stories about his dad are insane. Then again, Sage thanked Fight Pass after his win so he's pretty out there too but not in the fun Diaz or McGregor way.

Someone mentioned 205 to Gall. If Sage is up for the fight in 2 months time I would be into seeing them go at it in the Garden. That would probably end up on the prelim show or be the first fight on the main card.

On a note actually related to the topic of this thread, I finally watched the Hall documentary. Damn that's a hard watch

Something about Gall rubs me the wrong way personality wise but you can't deny he's got natural talent in the octagon. That said Sage REALLY weirds me out and I kind of want to see him get smashed again. He looks like he saw that shitty Guile GI Joe has a kid and decided he wanted to look like that in real life

@artisanbreads: Punk stated in the post-fight press conference that when he started looking into fighting MMA he was offered the chance by UFC. He would have been a fool to turn down that money and fight in an amateur league instead. He's even stated in previous interviews that when Dana came to him about fighting he brought up doing a season of TUF and was told no. Granted without the training, he wouldn't have made the house.

I thought Punk was surprisingly humble in the docu and in the post-fight in-octagon interviews. He came off a bit better than Gall who went from "everyone love everyone" to calling Sage corny. Although I really look forward to Gall being Sage's ass, that's for a different thread

If anything the whole announcement made me more interested in the NX. I have a ps4 and an XBO, I won't get a 4K tv until probably late next year when the prices are considerably lower.

With the direction MS is taking the xbox, the generation after this may be the time I finally say screw it and build a PC. If I can play Xbox games on a PC, the only stuff I'm really missing out on is first party Sony stuff. I'll be ok losing that

I got the game in the mail yesterday and played for about 6 hours. I was annoyed when I heard that everything was getting wiped for launch day but this completely changed my mind. I'm completely willing to start over now. I would do it just for the upgrade to resource slots alone.
