If anyone is still on v1.0, update to v1.0a because I've fixed an issue where the game locks up after training. There's an incremental v1.0-to-v1.0a patch in the original Youtube link as well as a full v1.0a patch.

You need CFW on your PSP to play a modified game. You can install CFW (custom firmware) on any model/firmware of PSP nowadays.

This is the original version of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2.
 
There's a Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional with over 100 new monsters among other features that came out a few months ago. They should have localized that one instead.

There is a way to change your copy of SC2's region (Ex: Korean copy playing on NA servers etc). Just search.
