I'm almost positive the SNES was the first console I ever played in my life. My parents already had one in our house, along with a Genesis, since before I could even hold a controller. I was born in 1989 and I'm pretty sure I first played the SNES in 1992, when I was about 3 years old. We only had a few games at first, mainly the Super Mario and Donkey Kong ones, but the collection grew with time. I remember my parents bought the MK games on the SNES because they were the "less violent" versions, but in reality, all that was different was that the blood had been colored gray to resemble sweat. I got my last batch of games from my uncle in 1996 when he sold them to my dad so he could start saving up for an N64. That batch included Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger, arguably my favorite games on the system.
