Xbox 360 Collection
I got my Xbox 360 for Christmas in 2005 along with a copy of Need for Speed: Most Wanted. It was a cold winter that year, my first season on varsity wrestling, and as a junior in high school, my first year taking college-level AP classes. With school and sports taking up the bulk of my time, my social life merely consisting of going to different friend's houses to play 360 titles. Racers like Most Wanted and Project Gotham 3, shooters like King Kong and Call of Duty 2, and fighters like Fight Night Round 3 and Dead or Alive 4 took up a huge chunk of our time. It was also when we discovered the magic of Xbox Live Arcade, getting sucked into simple but addicting titles like Hexic and Geometry Wars. As winter and the work load came to a close, I was finally able to sink more hours than I care to admit into Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which is to this day, my favorite game of this generation. Like the PS2, the 360 is my go-to console for multi-platform titles this generation, and with each passing month, my games list grows closer to eclipsing that of my PS2 one, which is the largest of my console collections.
