So its been a while since i did a blog and well i play quite a few games and there some things i want to get off my chest. So first about a month or 2 back my 360 finally died and it wasn't the rrod (E74 error) so it wasn't covered by the rrod warranty so like yay.... Anyway i tried to fix it myself cause thats the kind of person i am and i got it to turn on once before it decided it needed to leave and go to the place where all machines go to die, the tip. So it wasn't great news even more so that It fucked up the week i got fable 2 which i have to say is one of the best games i played in a long time but more on that later. So i was thinking did fable cause it because it been fine till then. Anyway i decided to go and get a new one the same week and its been good ever since. I decided against going for a elite at the last minute becasue I didn't really need it so i got the arcade and I have to say its does feel much better built then then the old model which is good. I still belive that rrod and scatching disks ect is still more caused by how one treats the console. A couple of weeks back watchdog did somthing about 360 scatching disks which wasn't a untold story to start with, I thought most people understood that if you have it up instead of down its more likely to scatch anyway. I mean hell if they really wanted a story they should of went with the E74 error because i read about that a ton of people got it the same week I did.

Anyway now im going to quickly just list all the new games i brought now Kotr 1 and 2, Fable 2 ,Battlefield BC, COD5, Shadowrun,Smackdown vs raw 2009. I may have missed one or 2 there but oh well. So i want to talk about each game as quickly as i can. So lets start with Fable 2 cause its most likely going to take the longest.

So Fable 2 was by far out anything i played last year the best game. (game of 2008 imo , only 3 months late XD) and I can't really give you a good reason why. I think mostly because it was the first real game that the things i did really did make me actully think and actully did chance the game unlike a lot of the other so called moral choices u get in other games. The cast is just great and maybe because imo is a very british game is why i like it so much. People like Zoë Wanamaker (My family) and Stephen Fry (Blackadder , a Bit of Fry and Laurie and yes that is Hugh Laurie if you your wondering) are all Legends of British TV. I don't really have one bad thing to say about the game either , the story is great, the combat while simple works really well, The Dog much more useful then u think (really go play Fable 1 and find out for yourself) and it was just a great game , expect a review from my self sometime soon.

Right next is Bad Company, Is it good ? Yes, is it as good as BF2? Nope. I don't wana get into this to much But I've had this problem where any BF game that comes out is always been good but never battlefield 2 good and i don't really know why that it is. I mean don't get me wrong Bad Company is no a sub par game but it just doesn't have the kind of bang that even 2142 maybe its cause i grew up with Battlefield games being on the PC and PC is always where its going to best , maybe its simply just not as good. I don't really know but I think I'm going to go back and play it a bit more before i make my mind up.

I guess i should talk about COD5 and again its the same deal with BFBC really, its good but its always going to be in its big brother shadow , that being COD4. I think i talked about it a lot but i always knew it wasn't going to be nearly as good as COD4, Final word its still the same old shit no matter what stuff u put into into it, zombies were pretty cool thought . (everyone hope on zombie train people)

Smackdown i get to down to a little later on when i talk wm25 and other wreslting stuff. I also need to put more time into Kotr a bit more but from what i played of 1 , i really didn't enjoy it at all. I think am about an hour in or so but dam i just don't know. Maybe i give it a little more time but i did end up playing mass effect again.

So i made a review on gs and give it a score of 5.6 or somthing like it cause i really hated it. After playing the Kotr game i hate it a lot less. More so that in fact i ended up playing the whole game which i admit it was pretty good. So i'm going to redo the review i did a year or 2 back and put it here. Even thought I did enjoy it more, a lot of my points still stand today. The controls are'nt great , cover system still doesn't feel right, your AI are still pretty fucking stupid and we won't go in to the vehicle controls but I tell you , if they can sort out them problems in Mass Effect 2 then oh boy it could be a really great game which i'm now looking forward to.

Right so on to Smackdown vs raw then and well idk really. Its still Smackdown and plays well and the controls work well. And the new Tag team options are pretty good. But its seems with smackdown now its always two steps forward and one step back, they do some really great things but let down one thing which is just down to lazyness in the end. This year is still the case while the done all these small improvements they really let them selfs down in others. The new area layout for a fact has taken a step back all the way to 06 , that little bit where you could go out into the crowd is now gone which really does suck, The commtery is still so lame which you can't blame on THQ tbh but still its fucking annoying as hell. The voice acting in this is so lame thought by far Mr Kennedy put the most into while all the others maybe from 1 or 2 just sounded so wooded and fake.  

Which brings me to the RTOW which sounds good and works and paper but again it sucks tbh. No matter how much to story mode sucked in the past it was always fun to take your caw in there and play that why now your stuck with cena, cm punk and a couple of other storylines , its wouldn't be so bad but the acting like i said sounds awful and just get boring. And instead of gm mode or or the normal story mode we have career mode which has sucked all the fun but you need to do it if you want to build up your caw and even give it abitlys like diveing from the ropes ect.  I haven't tried the online but i'm guessing at bad as ever. Its seems to be the problem with smackdown they try all the new ideas and such but when it comes to things the fans ask for like better online or backstages ect they never do it, Its a shame really.

Speaking of wreslting i wanted to talk a little about TNA and the WWE. For starters what has happend to TNA they gone totally downhill they PVP apart from the last have been totally crap , they can't seem to keep a storyline for 2 mins or just make a totally U turn into insane land. The gimmicks again what the hell. It goes on and on. The booking has been so poor lately really thought and yeh i mean Sting vs Mick Foly at Lockdown i mean come on they great sure but here the thing sting in ring skills have been lacking bad as of late and Mick Foly hasn't really been in a real match in like 3 years i mean have kurt angle vs sting or joe vs sting . I mean i can really see someone fall over dead in this match.

WWE storylines as of late have been pretty good which is a surpise the Hbk and JBL thing was good and now im really looking forward to watching the Taker and Hbk match because of the build up. Y2J and the Legends has to be one of the better ones they done in a while and Orton HHH storyline has been great as well. Still they somethings i don't get , There use Rey mysterio thought has not been all that great mind , they just don't seem to have a clue what they want to do with him which makes me feel sorry for him , same with Christian as well even thought i can understand him going to ECW it be intreasting to see what happens at wm25 and the draft.

Anyway i been watching the persona 4 thing and man i really wana play it now so i think i might go and pick up on my next vist to the city. Well i guess this well do for now , Its has been a while since i did a blog and they and ton of stuff thats happened i forgot to write about but i try and get on a bit more now . anyway laters .
