I haven't really been playing a whole lot of new games lately so I'll just cut to the chase.
Bought Guild Wars Eye of the North for $15. Pretty awesome and a good reason to get back into the game. Hope I can get my guild to rank 7 again.
Forgot that tomorrow is the new Street Fighter IV patch instead of today (I don't have school on Fridays and I thought it was Friday : ( )
That's about it.
Starting to get to a point where I am sick of doing school work already and want it to be summer. I like doing my shift at the school's radio station though because it's easy. I also have to start looking for a summer job before they are all gone. In the meantime I'm waiting for a friend to get his ass online so I can beat him in Guitar Hero: Metallica.

Just came back from toys r us and got Resident Evil 5 ($60) and Guitar Hero Metallica ($30) for 360. But I have to go out to brunch with my family and can't play until I get back! Don't you hate when you get something and you can't play it right away? O well, see you guys online for some RE5 and GH action soon!
Yes sir! I did and all of it cost me $221. Also, my friend who works at best buy said that there is going to be a $50 price cut sometime in April so I will get $50 back! Here it is.
So, here is what I got with it, PS3 160GB Uncharted Bundle with Pain, Hancock and Casino Royale on Blu-Ray (Free), Killzone 2 and HDMI Cable ($6! Yes I paid $6 for a $60 cable WOOOOO!). I know most of you guys will say that the 160gb is just the 80gb and is a ripoff but I don't think so. Considering that I don't plan on changing out the hard drive for a 320gb for $100, it's basically enough storage for me. Overall, this package came out to $606, minus my winnings of $385 and that's $221. Not a bad deal for a PS3 I must say.
As for my games, I really like Uncharted and Killzone 2 still needs to sell me on it, it's not a bad game but I just haven't found something that is great about it yet (mind you that I haven't played online yet). Pain is cool but it has some interface issues and sometimes doesn't tell you what you need to do to beat certain things. Overall, I'm happy that I purchased this system and I really enjoy what there is to do on it, play games. I don't have any friends on my list yet so add me at hairymike87 along with a message saying who you are if it is different from your GB name, and we can chat?.....text chat!?......................play games?

Hey guys. I just got back from Vegas today and I actually won some money. I was thinking what I could do with it and something popped into my head. Maybe I could get a Playstation 3? I looked online at prices and I have some questions.
Why is a 80gb PS3 two different prices?
How do I know what I am looking for when considering which console is the best purchase?
Do some consoles which have the same amount of storage have different features?
Right now, which console is the best bang for your buck feature wise?
Should I even consider a PS3 right now or wait until the next version of the console comes out?
This week sucks for me. I am playing like ass in SFIV and I don't think I'll be able to compete in GameStop's Tournament on Saturday. It's starting to come down to a point in my classes that I can't always play games and it is starting to show. With only so much time in one day that I have to put towards my studies, it leaves me only a small fraction of the week to do anything that I find fun.
On the flipside, I recently purchased a capture device for video. I'll be able to record movies off my electronics and such to throw them on my Ipod and also will be able to make video game videos without pointing a camera at the TV. I think it is a pretty cool thing to have and it will come in real handy when I go on vacation in a couple weeks to transfer movies so I can watch them on the plane. I'm pretty happy with that but I gotta find a way to convert the videos so they can go on my Ipod.
Lame. It's lame when you can't just always have fun doing nothing but chillin'. Sometimes it makes me wonder if there will ever be a day when I have to completely stop playing games. Wow, growing up and moving on with life is a real wake-up-call.
Tomorrow is when Street Fighter IV comes out/ships out. Some people are saying that stores aren't going to be selling them until Wednesday which is rediculous because almost every video game review site states that it is coming out tomorrow. I heard that it was unannounced that it was pushed back a day, but why wouldn't they announce that people won't be able to buy it until the day after it is supposed to be out? I don't know what is right or not, inform me?
In the meantime, while people are able or unable to get the game tomorrow, I will be sitting back, relaxing, and playing Street Fighter IV tomorrow which is a 100% guarentee that I am getting it tomorrow. Be sure to come see me online tomorrow if you happen to get it. I'll be online most likely around 3:30 eastern.
