Weekend Gaming.

Hey guys. I managed to get my PC working pretty fast from a horrifying reformat. I lost everything that I needed to do my school work and more. At least it loads much faster than how it was before lol.

Anyway, onto what I have been playing.

Halo 1 - I feel the same way playing through this as I did the first time I sat down and played it. The thing that really makes me feel that I shouldn't have hated the original Xbox was the breath-taking visuals. Now, I don't mean the actual terrain because most of it is low res compaired to today's standards, but I love looking out into the distance and seeing the halo and the planets that are so close to your location. It's just something that makes me stop in my tracks and stare at. I know, I'm wierd lol.

Fable - I like this game. It is really slow with getting you into the actual game itself. I got up to where I can start picking quests and starting my adventure. The game has a look that I really don't like. It's good that the actual game itself seems promising.

Half-Life - Never played through the original game. I re-installed all of my steam games and decided to start that up.

Synergy - Synergy is a free mod available on Steam that I believe allows you to play games like Half-Life 2 in a co-op mode over the internet. That is pretty awesome considering you were never allowed to do that ever.

Fallout - I downloaded Fallout on GameTap and played it for about 2 mins before I deleted it. That game is a point and click adventure that is set in a cave that just looks ugly. Everything in that game was just ugly and unappealing to me.

So, besides playing those games, drinking with my friends to just cut loose from the stresses at school and eating spicy chicken 15 mins before playing a full tennis match while trying to digest and trying not to puke, I would have to say that it was a pretty good weekend.

Tomorrow is Columbus Day and I have that day off. Hope that most of you do too and enjoy the day!

Cya.

Half Life for the win! Co-op in HL2 sounds freaking amazing man. I wish they had included that...

I'm fucking trudging my way through Megaman 9. HARD.

Hope you have fun with all your older games. I know I've had fun with most of those!
