Never liked any COD games after the first, so I can't say it's a good idea. But, hey if you like those games then why not. right?

Thanks for this insightful post.

It makes sense. Apple release an iterative product every year or so, so they're in line with EA, Activision and are years ahead of Nintendo.

In almost every video game, the hero is the guy who kills the most people.

Like RecSpec said, his involvement in the airport massacre changes the events; they now have a smoking gun of the events who could inform them of what was going on but more importantly, they say Makarov is the guy who launched the nuke in the desert in Modern Warfare which totally nixes Shephard's reasoning for setting up the airport massacre in the first place. The twist is also pointlessly contrived and really boring too, especially following Soap's death, and makes Yuri just seem more like a device than a character, especially when it seems that he's OK with stealing nuclear weaponry and killing a battalion of soldiers but isn't willing to go along with the airport attack, even though he must know the thing is already a set up to forward his cause.

Single player: absolute travesty on the scale of some shit Capcom would produce. Multiplayer: Kill Confirmed seems to prevent sniping, noob tubing and camping to a degree that makes the game more fun than MW2. Looking forward to getting into it more.

The retconing of the entire franchise during Yuri's flashback is so egregious that it shocked me how they could spend millions on the project but not bother paying someone to write a basic story.

I love them both dearly but my pick would be The Dark Knight. Let's hope The Dark Knight Rises retains the level of brilliance that the previous two films had so that Nolan will leave his Batman legacy on a high note.

I agree after having just watched the Dark Knight again.

I can't wait for The Dark Knight Rises.

Batman Begins is awful and The Dark Knight is just average. Stick to films from a real action director.

Always good for a laugh I see.

What's funny about knowing about film? Come back to Chris Nolan once you've seen more than whatever shit is in your local multiplex this weekend and maybe you'll stop wowing over the generic.

You're so cute when you're all anti-conformist <3 Also, no offence intended but... why are you still here? Seriously, it seems you only linger around until some movie talk is brought up, and you're already well seated in screened at this point; I'd always figure you'd simply start hang where there's bound to be much more like-minded folkingtons, instead of a forum dedicated to a hobby you appear to be long past. Unless you just enjoy pissing on everyone's bonfire around here... which, hey, is certainly understandable, I guess.

I'm not anti-conformist, I just don't get the big deal around Chris Nolan. Insomnia, Memento and The Prestige are all great, but he's a really poor action director so when I see people all hot and bothered over The Dark Knight, or worse, Inception, I feel the need to bonfire piss in an increasingly vain attempt to see what's good about them and I have yet to get any answers that tell me more than that person has only ever gone to see movies advertised on IGN.

Screened was good, but then guys like Le_Samourai and Yuri I'm-not-even-going-to-try-and-spell-the-surname kind of stopped posting and now it just seems to be talk of shitty horror films and what is everyone's favourite Quentin Tarantino movie. It's a shame because while Alex tries way too hard, Rorie and his commitment to the community is full of potential.
