Im not too bothered as I was always going to buy the blu ray but it is a shame they didnt air the true ending.

As for the final episode, I thought it was ok but I thought both bosses deserved their own episode. Adachi especially seemed like he deserved more of a battle. I almost cheered though when the music kicked back in against him, was an awesome moment.

Really does suck. They may not have been the best company but we're losing more and more stores on the high street. Only place left in my place to get games is HMV and the supermarkets on the outskirts. Terrible for the staff as well, ive been unemployed for a while now and its not easy finding jobs at the moment.

For the moment im just happy to be able to play Shenmue 1 again. I loved the sense of community in that game and walking around the town everyday. The search for sailors begins again!

Id say this is our best chance to finally see Shenmue 3 made. If these HD releases actually sell well it could finally convince them.

I'll be getting them anyway but I would like them to smooth out the walking animations a bit, that was my only complaint last time I tried replaying it. Unfortunately id say thats doubtful.

Shenmue 1, 2 HD to launch on PSN, XBLA - report

Sega is ready to release HD updates of cult Dreamcast classics Shenmue and Shenmue 2, according to a new report.

Shenmue HD and Shenmue 2 HD will be released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, Gamerzines claimed.

Indeed development of both titles has been finished for over a year, an anonymous source said. The hold up was due to Sega working out the future of the Shenmue franchise, apparently. "Namely, whether or not Shenmue 3 would ever see the light of day," said the report.

If true, Shenmue's HD revamp follows similar efforts with other cult Dreamcast games. Sega recently announced Jet Set Radio HD, due out this summer.

Eurogamer has asked Sega for comment.

I think for me I went with Miranda in ME2 and stuck with her for 3 because of Yvonne Strahovski more than Miranda. Still though, I did get attached so made sure she survived both games.

I lost Mordin in my suicide mission in ME2, such a great character and it looks like I missed some great dialogue by not having him in my playthrough of 3.

I dont think it needed flamboyant gay characters. Thats just one part of the gay culture and probably not the majority as it is. Just like there are flamboyant straight people. The gay people in the game were written as people first and their sexuality didnt define them at all.

@darkdragonmage99: A problem im having here is that im pretty much having this same conversation on 2 forums at the same time so stuff is being left out of posts. Basically for me I completely agree there are a lot of inconsistencies and problems with the way the ending played out. Im just saying that at the very end, I like where things are left.

The other problem here of course is that people seem to be getting a bit too defensive. I honestly do not mind that others arent liking the ending and I know that im in the minority here. I just wanted to have a conversation on it, not an argument which unfortunately is what this is starting to become.
