I feel like I should preface this with the fact that I am honestly thrilled that the site is at a point where they can produce content with different audiences in mind. I can barely keep up with the content I WANT to consume, so this is certainly not a complaint.
I rarely watch any Patrick related videos and am very cautious with any video content driven by Brad. I enjoy Patrick's editorials for the most part, even if we do not sure the same opinion, but am just not interested in the bulk of what he covers in his videos. I enjoyed a few of the Spelunky episodes, but Patrick is too frantic for me. I have no problem with Brad on videos where the entire staff is taking part and I think he's doing an amazing job hosting the podcast, but I'm not interested in Dota and don't find his quick looks informative or entertaining.
On the other hand, I love a ton of the content that people posting here seem to dislike. I would watch (and by watch I mean listen and kind of watch while I do something else) Jar Time daily and could honestly listen to Vinny read VCR instructional manuals. 8-4 is insanely informative for someone like myself that doesn't keep up with the Japanese side of the industry or own any of the current Nintendo consoles.
We already have GTA. Saint's Row should continue to be crazy.
That's how I feel. I had a ton of fun with the first three games, but the fourth was exactly what I wanted out of it. There are enough "beat up other human dudes" open world games as it is.
As a huge Diablo fan, I picked up the PC version of D3 on release day and loved it. I eventually grabbed D3 for PS3 on sale and was very pleasantly surprised. Picked up RoS on PC the day it came out and put another few hundred hours into it and then yesterday I grabbed D3: UEE for PS3 and am loving every minute of it.
Like a few others have said, it's a drastically different experience on console. While it's the same game at the core, I still continue to play both PC and PS3 versions depending on what I'm looking to get out of it. Hell, I'll probably pick up the Ultimate Evil Edition AGAIN when I eventually get a PS4.
