I'm multi-platform which makes me an equal-opportunity-hater.

This blog wins on account of that quote, alone.  I happen to enjoy the PS3 hardware (and controllers), but I can completely understand your stance on PSN . It is "lacking," to put it nicely. Then again, I wouldn't expect it to match a paid service. If Sony charged me a monthly fee for using it, it would be a different story...

" I have a PS3 but the analog sticks aren't tight enough for me when I play shooters (compared to the 360 sticks).  Not to mention that I can't use my own batteries in the controller - eventually these batteries will suck and it will be a wired controller again. "

So much fail in that sentence... I have only owned a 360 for a week and I've already gone through 4 AA batteries... PS3 controller lasts much longer, and you can actually change the battery down the road, in say ten years, when the litium ion battery wears out... As for the analog sticks... Preferences, preferences...

Two quality AA batteries should last you at least a week of play averaging 3-4 hours of play per day.

I hated buying batteries for my 360 back in the day. I hate buying batteries for the Wii too. I actually didn't know the Dualshock didn't take batteries until I got the thing into my home which was a pleasant surprise.

Anyway I'm not sure what you're complaining about here. Is it the PSN stores font?

You should only have one login also. My email address is my PSN login?

I have a charge station for my Wii and a charge station for my PS3 and i love them both.  I never have to think twice about batteries, they're always full, have been for years.

You went through 4 AA batteries?

I'm calling bullshit.  Unless you play 24 hours a day that is highly unlikely because all I've been doing the past two weeks is playing and I haven't had to change batteries yet.
