*pours one out for Dave*

We'll all miss you here, Dave, and you'll always be a pleasure to see, but you know what they say.

I'm a terrible person and let Ben fall... I felt so bad afterwards, but I stuck to my guns and let it happen.

I really really hope this doesn't end up with Giant Bomb doesn't just become Gamespot II. If I wanted to visit Gamespot I would visit Gamespot. If I see some of the bullshit I see at Gamespot get brought over to Giant Bomb then I will be a sad, sad person. If this just ends up with them getting their name out there more and getting paid more, but the site might as well be exactly the same, then more power to them. Please don't change the way this site runs because of this guys. I love this site and I would hate for it to become a shell of what it once was.

I don't know why Patrick singled out Civ Rev in the article over all the other Civ games, but regardless this piques my interest. I never had any experience with X-Com and the FPS just didn't look appealing to me. I'm sure I'll play this one over the FPS because 1. it will probably be cheaper and 2. there's a better chance of it being good. So do your best Firaxis or else everyone will hate you!

I never really was aware of Kaz before this past E3 (never knew where the Ridge Racer joke came from) but from what I've seen of him recently he seems like a very likable guy. Whether he has good business practices I don't know but at least he's fun to watch.

I don't see what everyone's complaint about this article is. I completely understood what he was talking about. And his apparent "bias"? I don't see it. The PSN hacking was a major widespread issue with 100s of thousands to millions of people who could have suffered from it (thought nothing really came of it) and this is a very minor issue that hasn't affected that many people. He got a hold of someone who runs the website and they told him that they're working on the issue. There's nothing else he can really say. He's saying this is currently a problem that might be fixed soon but you should watch out for it from now on.

While people are right to get angry at Sony for this, it's not nearly entirely their fault. Yes there probably are further precautions than what were already instated that might have been able to null this incident. You have to realize though, this attack was entirely unpredictable. I'm not necessarily defending Sony here but people that are saying that this could never happen with XBL is wrong. Just damn wrong. May it be more unlikely? Possibly, but it is definitely possible, and this whole situation proves that.

A Nintendo console after 6 years isn't that unreasonable... I mean, that's how long every other console of their's has lasted. I have no idea what to expect from this thing. E3 will be where the magic happens. No matter what people on here think, Nintendo knows how to make money.

I'm pretty sure that it was always planned to come out in June and they just said May so they could fuck with us.
