There was a cool bit in Stellaris about projectiles in space travelling forever. One of the random events has a ship under your control suddenly hit by a weapon, damaging shields and causing the alarm, but no ships around that could possibly have fired. Investigation reveals it was a mass driver bolt fired from the next galaxy over, and something like 10,000 years ago (can't recall the specifics). I thought that was a really neat random event.
Man, sometimes I feel like Jim Carrey in the Truman Show. Right before I sat down to watch this while I play Path of Exile, I watched a couple episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion with my girlfriend before she went to bed. Path of Exile discussed briefly, and A Cruel Angel's Thesis (the theme from that anime) played in the rhythm game.
@skumberg: This is all accurate. My washer has two connections, one hot, one cold. And hot water can make colors more likely to bleed, so it's generally reserved for your whites.
One of the most noteworthy facts about the junior college I attended after high school was that one Mark Calaway played for the basketball team back in the 80's. He was eventually offered an $80,000/yr. contract to play pro ball in Europe, but turned it down to go to wrestling school. He eventually became The Undertaker.
