Why would a new game have features that were standard in the series for years? That would make sense. My theory is: remove basic features one year, then add them back in the next and pretend they are something revolutionary. Example: BF2 has prone, BF:BC2 does not have prone, BF3 OMG PRONE!!!!!!

Is this game also automatic transmission only like the NFS:HP reboot? Or is that a new feature?

I like the music in XCOM, but it feels like the b-side of the Deus Ex:HR soundtrack. I realize it's the same composer, but it should still have its own sound.

@Kerned: I also found the alien voice to be very low and missed most of what was said.

Completed it successfully on normal then attempted Classic with Ironman mode and got my ass kicked. I like how the world is in more of a panic on Classic with a variety of aliens dumped on you right away. But the amount of critical hits the aliens land is insane considering your soldiers can't hit a damn thing. The aliens getting a bonus move when discovered becomes even more annoying on Classic.

I didn't realize being able to change the armor colour was a pre-order bonus, what complete bullshit. I use it all the time to easily tell my soldiers apart.

20 hours on the PC version with no issues.

I only watch them if I'm trying to find an older game to play that doesn't have a GB quicklook. Even then, I only to see actual gameplay and not the commentary.

I would prefer a watchable version of ILM again and maybe those additional episodes of TANG they said were in the works a year ago.
