@CaLe: Ok, but how did you correlate my preferred serving temperature of rotting animal fat with that of my coffee, and more importantly how did you know that I like drinking rotting animal fat?

Too much at one time. I popped it in like a month ago to slay some mobs for old time's sake so maybe that explains my rationale.

So I was cleaning out my fridge and I found this coffee mug of grease that is 1 year plus old. I was contemplating whether or not to go through with the arduous process of cleaning it when I realized that sometime in the future, after the apocalypse, some poor soul is going to need some ammo for his rock-it launcher. And he's going to be totally stoked when it has a grease fire damage modifier and the fucking asshole Talon Merc he shoots it at in vats starts on fire. So i just threw it away.

@Veektarius: Community college bro. Actually, would you know anything about using excel to make accompanying graphs? I don't expect you to explain it to me, more point me to a resource. I've never used excel in that way.

Hey guys, I would just like to thank everyone for participating! I work full time and go to school full time, so you saved me the agony of having to go out and get a live sample. Again, thanks!

To address a few points:

1. Yes I know the title is way too fucking long. I'm new on the forums so I kinda fucked up. Live and learn.

2. No this is not a truly random sample. In fact it borders on convenience, which is a highly questionable practice when gathering data. However, this is just a little final project for the semester. What matters is that I use the test statistic and really show that I understand the concept mathematically. I still figured it would be more interesting to mine the data from here, because I consider this community to be smarter and more mature than the internet at large, and it showed in the very civil fashion you all responded. Thank you.

3. I wish I could've responded more rapidly to comments addressed directly to me, but the newb posting cap forced me to stay silent. I'm not a dismissive prick, I swear!

Alright thanks duders. Lookin' forward to perusing the boards in a more recreational manner.
