Exactly. Bias in reviews are impossible to avoid (they are just informed opinions), but having things like Quick Looks and the podcast goes a long way informing the audience of where the reviewer stands.
If the game has a bad review, but I understand the reasons, I am more capable of judging if the flaws the reviewer found are things that bother me or not.
Of course, I would value the opinion more, the more I think the reviewer is informed and appreciative of the game. I have little use of a FIFA 15 review made by Jeff, as I have little use for a Call of Duty review made by Patrick. Each has its own likes and dislikes, and being so open to the community helps us identify that...
