Yes I only beat two games from 2014, and yes one of them was a game I possibly could not have been more cynical towards prior to its release... Look I'm not proud of myself, okay but Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was the first and only Borderlands game I've played through all the way to the end. I finally understood what it felt like for Borderlands to get its hooks in you and leave you excusing all of the glaring problems left in the series after three iterations in single minded pursuit of that next level.
