Trying to figure out what my favorite games of all time are list

List items

  • My favorite game of all time because not only is it photorealistic (very high only, not shitty configs which takes away the realism) it's also a very fun open world game that isn't scaled down like console games, or crysis 2.

  • The pc version only, it will eventually have DX11 settings and the pc version looks so much better than the console version it's not even funny. But no console gamers knows this, just as modern warfare 2 which looks way better on the pc because they are used to low rez no detail, low rez texture multiplatform games.

  • I like this game because it turned out to be a very good sequel. Sure there was a problem of how linear things were if you wanted to get the full sync with the animus by doing side objectives, but overall the game was alot of fun. So was the multiplayer.

  • The game is very pretty, looks just as good as pc games which is kind of rare. It has great art designs by that tetsuo nomura guy and I like the battle system. I honestly feel it's underated because american ppl in general likes boring wrpg games more because it's more action packed over turn based combat.

  • I feel this game should be on the list. Sure it wasn't as story driven as the first game, but it makes up for this by giving you practically an infinite amount of side missions which was lacking form the first game.

  • Here was a game I just played over and over and over until there was a sequel. It was the game that made sheppard a hero and savior of humanity. Sure the gameplay wasn't as good as the second game, but it sure had a great story and I felt immersed in the world.

  • Everyone's favorite game, the pc version looks fantasic compared to the console version. The game lets you kill in so many ways. There are literally a hundred ways you can kill your opponents and you can even do it being a silent assassin without drawing attention to yourself. The game isn't linear, which is why there is so much replay value.

  • This game was like super fun. It was everything I wanted in a mech game and it actually worked. It's totally underated but i'm glad konami is going to release a newer version I can play on the ps3 with HD graphics. I can't wait.

  • The first SSX was the first game I bought for the ps3. I didn't own SSX tricky, but I owned SSX 3 which I had a tremendus amount of fun with. I missed some of the more bright neon levels with high tech envionments of the first game, but it made up for it with improved gameplay and a good trick system.

  • Killer instinct is one of my favorite fighting game of all time. I like the combos and the graphics looks very good for the arcade version. Yes I only play the arcade version because it was emulated on my pc before. I hated the sequel to this game, they practically ruined everything that made this game great. The combo system didn't work in the second game.

  • This game is great in terms of scale it's totally epic. The whole world is like a spiral of death. The graphics are good, due to tetsuo nomura's art design skills and it has voice acting. The environments are really great and the world is totally depressing. This game is fantastic.

  • I actually like this game a lot even though others hate it, calling it some kind of charlies angels meets final fantasy. The battle system is very fast and in real time, which is tougher than FFXIII since you are controlling three characters. It's like the mass effect back in the day, going anywhere you want and doing side missions to boost your overall percentage. This game was underated but imo it's still totally brilliant. Yuna and rikku became on of my favorite characters after this game.

  • I am playing wipeout HD and fury right now but i'm not feeling it because it's so slow compared to this game. This game is fast and furious and has a great soundtrack that rivals anything on wipeout HD and wipeout fury. It's like the fastest game i've ever played you can barely even control it. I had a lot of fun.

  • They changed the formula of the game and I totally dig it. It seems to upset a lot of ppl, but I thought it was great. Now sam fisher does krav maga as it's hinted in the novels. I myself have studied krav maga so i'm really glad to see a lethal version of it in the game. It's sort of like batman arkham asylum and I like the splinter cell series more than metal gear because it's more reality based and they always had the camera system right which metal gear snake eater copied. While this series is boring to a lot of ppl, it's exciting to me.

  • This game goes all the way back to the first snake story. How it all started, back to the Cuban missile crisis. The cutscenes are no excessive like MGS4 which totally got me to never be a fan of the series again because it's just so fake. This game has some basis in reality, where kojima can't use technology for tools and weapons to make it fake. The pacing was good and at times it's good enough to actually be a real movie, which they did try to make with mgs 3 existence, which was an extra disc for a limited edition version of the game. I like subsistence better due to the new camera angle.

  • I never really had a xbox 360 or xbox, so I never really had the ability to play more DOA games but it turns out to be one of my favorite fighting game series. Not just because of the boobs, but because everything just moves so fluidly and it's a defensive counter attack game unlike tekken. Sometimes I want to buy a xbox 360 just for DOA 4, I never played it yet, but it RROD.

  • I have both the pc version and the ps3 version. I often buy like two of the same games because one came out first and the second is for superior graphics since the ps3 has like low amount of video ram for textures. The pc version has physX, so much of it, it's almost like a different game because it's so excessive. This game reminds me of splinter cell conviction and it's the best batman game ever made, they really could of failed, but the game is superior in every way. Can't wait for the sequel.

  • This game is like so much better than a lot of open world games. I had like the best time with it, I can't believe I am allowed to have this much fun in a game. I felt like it's too much fun to be a game, it's almost like the perfect game if you like open world, non linear, overly big environments. I can't say enough good things about this game.

  • I'm only talking about the pc version because it looks way better than the console version and it has physX. Glass is shattering everywhere, you see smoke everywhere and lots of effects. I always wanted a game where you can jump over buildings and stuff. The shooting can be better, but that's what sequels are for. I heard they are going to use the frostbite 2 engine for the second game, I can't wait. I can't stop reinstalling this game.

  • This game is a classic. Looks great on the pc, looks like shit on consoles. Not sure why, it's not even like full hd on consoles, the pc version is sharp just like the sequel. Unforgetable levels.

  • I like the pc version, you can pause and you can use tactics unlike the console version. I like everything about this game, it was perfect before they ruined it for the sequel consolizing it. Framerates are high unlike the console version.

  • Silent hill 2 is cool, but the gameplay sucks. This game might now have the atmosphere of the first game, but it's still very scary. It's more gameplay focused and heather is a great character because they made her so human and so normal. I guess after this game, all silent hill games began to suck. Oh well, it was the last good game in the series.

  • No game should have all that power. But saints row is underated and a lot of fun. Honenstly this game is pure fun, it's not going to be that high on my list, but it sure has a cult following. The sequel should be a lot better.
