I really wish I could have played through this game. I loved the story telling, the decisions to be made, and the animation. But the box puzzle sections were unplayable. And there were no walkthroughs when I tried :(
I'd say Gears 2, Halo Reach, and Tales of Vesperia (if you are into old schoolish JRPGS). I'd steer clear of Halo 3 and Gears 1. I'm still not sure why these games got the scores that they did, but they are vastly inferior to their follow ups. Fable 2 is great as well.
