I'm attempting to add a few mods to my game and the mods don't seem to be showing up.

Saved my mod and all that, but, when I go to load them up under "Data files" in skyrim, only the main skyrim is there. My mods are in Local Disc C:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data

When I open Data Files, the only thing that is there is "Skyrim.esm"

I've tried running Skyrimlauncher.exe as Administrator and moved it to my desktop and still nothing changed.

@SexyToad: Is it? I haven't found the motivation to make an account on this website before. I felt this was the best place to ask my question.

Well, that totally makes it okay for you to pirate the game. It would have been a different story if that weren't the case.

I don't have any mods, at the moment. I haven't actually played the game yet.

Unless mods came with the package? I'm fairly technologically deficient, so if I'm mistaking something blatantly obvious, I'm truly sorry.

My friend's borrowing my Xbox 360 copy so I'm trying out the PC version.

For some reason, I'm being resisted in all my efforts to play this game.

Whenever I attempt to run TESV.exe, as my game launcher doesn't work for some reason (It starts up, but when I press "Play", it'll load for a second then nothing will happen), a small screen will pop up, but it turns black, and the only way I can close it is by restarting my PC or by using Ctrl-Alt-Delete and closing it via Task Manager.

Is there a reason why this happens? I've attempted running it via Administrator, simply waiting, downloading Directx 9.0c.

I don't know what else I can do.

What am I doing wrong? :/
