I started watching Neon Genesis Evangelion today as it became available on Netflix and the final scene in episode 4 has a shot that is 1 single frame for almost an entire minute.

The only sound effects are chirping cicadas and a voice over a loudspeaker at a train station.

If it wasn't for the sound, I would have thought my stream would have frozen.

A little ridiculous if you ask me even if I understand the reasons behind this decision (cut costs).

What is the longest single frame either in animation or in film that you have seen.

I cannot stand all of the yelling and screaming after every sentence during this conference and the last couple that Bethesda has put on.

It is super off putting and does not make me laugh or feel excited about the games they are showing, it just makes me want to turn off the stream.

If these people are hired by Bethesda, they need to stop doing that. If these people are simply just fans, then they need to learn when it’s appropriate to cheer. Bethesda security needs to escort these people out of the audience if they continue this behavior.

Super distracting.

@secondpersonshooter: Thank you for this feedback. Sounds like it probably won't be for me then. Maybe I will pick it up when it's like $20 or something to give it a shot.

If I haven't really liked the past From games, do you think I would like this one? Is it different enough?

The idea of no stamina bar, the added mobility and the lack of variable stats make me think I could get into this.

I was never a huge fan of the difficulty of previous From games but I might be willing to put in the work on this one.

Just curious if you think it is any better for "newcomers" vs. From's other games?

Thank you everyone for the suggestions and feedback.

I was planning on using this pretty much exclusively for gaming. Just always figure go big or go home lol.

I will definitely look into not going as crazy since I will not be doing anything outside of gaming

I usually just go to google and type "giant bomb game of the year 20XX" for whatever year you are looking for. That usually pulls up the results I want. I have never found a better way to find the GOTY content.

For specific game related content like Hitsmas, you can just go to the Hitman game page and look through the videos on that page to find them

I'm pretty underwhelmed by this full list. No Crash Bandicoot or Spyro seems like a huge miss. No Castlevania Symphony of the Night, no Gran Turismo (although I understand that one with licensing and whatnot), no Legend of Dragoon and a bunch of other great RPG's.

Oh well. I will probably keep my pre-order and just re-sell the console if demand is as high as the NES and SNES Classic's were when they originally launched

I'm excited to try all this stuff but I hate how high level all this is. I'm 525 light right now so I won't be able to do any of this stuff for quite some time.

Seeing all these other players already at 600 light blows my mind. I don't know how they do it.

I also don't check Reddit everyday so I have no idea what I'm doing in the Dreaming City. There are so many hidden and cryptic things which on one hand is cool but on the other hand is a great way to ensure that a lot of players don't see some of this content. I wish it held my hand just a little bit more.

I just to the daily and weekly milestones to get powerful gear and then I am just sitting there waiting for the reset.
