@asurastrike: Same here, I think I had another few months before I turned 21. Now I very much over 21 (and I can drive, which makes getting to the BART station a lot easier)
@brendan: No one is saying that 7 rivers worth of water wouldn't wreck a ton of shit, but all of our reservoirs would be back up to 100% which would solve all of our short-mid term water problems. Also, it has rained here a couple times in the past few months, just not enough to end the drought, so ground soil should still have some moisture to it.
Also also, there isn't a ton of agriculture left in the South Bay or East Bay, but the North Bay vineyards will probably take a big hit and all the yuppies will cry themselves to sleep.

Well, if that report that says the Bay Area is due for a superstorm is correct, he'll actually be right. Seven Mississippi rivers worth of water (no really, that's what it says) would in fact, end the drought, at least in this part of the state.

For anyone curious about the writing in this game, originally they had hired someone specifically to handle writing duties (the kickstarter page still shows Brad Brown as the lead writer), but he quit over creative differences with the lead developer, who took over all writing duties. Which is why the writing is so uh...special. Never trust a developer with writing your scripts damn it!
You should be able to set the tv to output at 4:3 instead of stretching, and you'll want to disable any post processing the TV does (put it in game mode if you can), but it will work. I don't think you can do much about the overscan lines, though.
So I'm not sure of a better place to put this, but I'm looking into getting a carpool going for duders in the South Bay who want to go to Hoodslam. The drive is a major pain in the ass/wallet by yourself. I'd appreciate a few dollars for gas, but I'm in it more for the company than the money so if money is that tight (especially since Hoodslam admission is going up to $20 in February), don't worry about it. Unfortunately, due to traffic constraints, I'm limited to people in the South Bay proper, and as a currently funemployed man with no responsibilities, prefer to leave earlier so we can get a better spot in line. Anyways, if anyone is interested just let me know!
