@Jasta:  Collectors item.  If I wanted to play PS1 games, I'd just get ePSXE, and go hog-wild.  But I am interested in this thing, because it's a rarity.  Plus, it'll play Thrill kill.

So, I'm getting a "new" console.  It's a Playstation 1 Debug Unit, Model No.  DTL-H1101.  I'm pretty pumped about it actually.  Will post info/pictures when it comes in.

Stage 4, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  Currently still have it, and have had it since Jan. or so.  Caused my ankle to swell/lock up, which has prevented me from walking (or even standing).  So, yeah, that's been a load of fun, for the past 9 months.

" @HumanityPlague:  When you say they wrecked your staff, have you done the actual math on the INT to Spellpower and all that? I was under the impression they were trying to convert stats as fairly as possible. I probably won't be playing until Cataclysm actually hits, so I guess the current gear doesn't concern me much anyway, to be honest. "

Well, my staff originally was the Engraved Gargoyle Femur (one of the best non-raid staff's),  +112 int, +110 Stamina, etc.  Now it has +219 Stamina.  I guess I'll reforge it to get back the Int, but it seems kind of like a waste.  Plus, by my account, my server generally sucks, so also a bit of good news.

And yeah, Cata gear is going to destroy everything people have now.  It's gonna be great.

" @BionicMonster: I think they are concentrating on teaching people how to play the game, and I think that is a good thing. Hopefully it will lead them to create some challenging raids and heroics. "

I don't mind them simplifying the beginning of the game, actually that's probably a good thing.  But as an 80 mage (with no real desire to roll a non-Worgen alt), I'm just spinning my wheels.  Plus, currently, the mage glyph system is fucked, so that's a bigger drag.  On the flip side, I did buy fast flying for a stupidly high price.  So, I guess that's something.

They also wrecked my staff, which kind of makes me pissed.

Yeah, I started at 6pm, and it's now 4am (and I'm on the last part).  After the mega-patch installs, then another patch downloads that is around 900mb.

So, with games getting bigger with every year, I'm curious about some of your guys and gals biggest PC game install sizes.  Mine are WoW (currently at 23.1GB), and probably Team Fortress 2 (around 10gb), and the Witcher (15gb).  There's a game called X-Plane (flight simulator) that if you install all the scenery packs is a 75GB install.

Also, The Force Unleashed: Sith Edition, clocks in at a low 25gb install size.

So what are some of the biggest games you have installed?

WoW has spent over 6 hours downloading/installing the patch (it's STILL not done, at 83% of install).  I'm gonna call that "impressive".

Got a bunch of games recently.  Here are some thoughts:

1.  Red Dead Redemption -- looks good, and plays well.  Unfortunately I can't play the game, because there's an issue with the horizontal screen size on my tv.  A part of the game is cut off (like half an inch on the left side), so when I'm on a horse, I can't see it's stamina meter.  It's kind of annoying, since I was interested in playing it.

2.  Lego Batman -- well, it's Lego Batman, what  more needs to be said.  Some of the path finding/puzzles are a bit strange, but I enjoy it.

3.  Eternal Sonata -- see the same problem as Red Dead, only replace "Stamina Meter" with "Action Meter".  Which makes the game more unplayable, really.

4.  The Darkness -- fantastic FPS game.  It's saddens me that so many people are excited/orgasming over Halo: Reach.  It's a Halo game, with Tribes style power ups.  BIG DEAL.  I like The Darkness, because while it's not super original, it looks fantastic, has some interesting idea's, and makes you care about whats going on.

5.  Rock Band 2 -- bought a bunch of songs from people I like.  That's about it.

6.    Alan Wake -- beat the 2nd episode, good stuff.  The combat is challenging, which is nice.  Great atmosphere, and look to the game.  I miss bullet time, though.

7.  Spiderman: Web of Shadows -- was going great, till I web swung onto a street, and fell through the game world.  Ouch.

Also, I'm followed by Johnny V on here, and Adam Boyes on Twitter.  I have arrived,  people.
