I was doing the whole game design thing but I wasn't very good at programming and I can't draw, so when my class ended and the group who was supposed to stick together to make some games split I sort of gave up on that dream I've had since I was 7. So instead I decided all those novels I wrote growing up might have been an indication of what I should do. Currently majoring in Creative Writing so I can be an author because I'm a silly idiot.
No, because I'm the computer guy in a family in which no one else knows anything about computers.
This gift is a curse.
I'm the computer guy who actually doesn't know very much about computers. I do know how to do a damn google search though, so I get called to solve every problem there is.
Chrono Cross and Persona 4 Arena. I always need a handheld game for work and theres some stuff I've been meaning to write about CC so I'm about 80% of the way through that. Persona 4 Arena I'm sort of crawling through because theres so much story. I've beaten it with Chie, Yu, Yosuke, Yukiko, and Kanji.
I switch between night shift and day shift every week. My sleep varies from 4 to 12 hours. Usually at the lower end of the spectrum unless heavily aided by unhealthy amounts of Diphenhydramine.
The year they did go was pretty awesome. It was nice to hear about some Japanese antics, even if there weren't very many games to cover. I hope they go next year now that they got some of that CBSi money, and they'll be a little bit more set up (goddesses willing).
I imagine that Microsoft would jump at the opportunity to reverse some of the bad will they got a while ago for that whole gaymer tag kerfuffle. I can't imagine that this convention is going to have a very large number of attendees though. Giantbomb should totally cover it.
