He. And yes, that's true. I was dismayed by the sexism and chauvinism that I've seen on these boards, so I decided to throw this poll together to see if there were actually any women here at all. As it turns out, not really. I can't say I'm surprised.

There are a few of them though, and they're pretty cool.

Before this controversy, I always thought it was pronounced "Chick - fill - Uh".

It's supposed to be like Chick filet, but cows can't spell, and that's like their mascot... So yeah... Pretty stupid.

Really? Well I may have to check it out than, though as you said long series are a serious deterrent to me.

I may check out this "5 centimeters Per Second" that was recommended to me though, even if its title does make it sound like an asian porno. Looks super depressing.

@Knave: I don't doubt it has potential, it's just scifi always turns me off just a bit (though admittedly my scores dont reflect that). I'll take ninjas over space ships any day.
