well Linkin Park new CD is out. i finally got to listen to it. I thought that it was just alright. i still think that their first two CD's are a lot better than Minutes to Midnight and A thousand suns.  it was produced by one of the linkin park's member Mike shinoda. 
 
the CD feels like it wants to be  techno. Which some of the songs had those beats that techno would have then there is singing mixed in.  the songs feel like they are DJ a lot of it.
 
One thing that i enjoyed about the CD was that they included a remixed of the catalyst. Linkin park had released the single and had a contest to remix the song. the best one that got voted would get put onto the CD. they said from wiki that they plan on releasing the remixed sometime with another CD, if they release another one. 
 
in the end i don't think that this CD is very good. it is just a decent CD. it feels just like minutes to midnight. hyped that they are releasing a new CD but different type of music to them.

I got all the Linkin Park I needed when I saw Transformers. Just not for me I guess.

Boy, it kinda limped onto the scene, didn't it? This is the first I've heard of a new LP disc. I was done with them after Meteora. 

I really like the album. Way better then Minuets to Midnight.. Maybe with enough listen it might become my personal favorite of theirs.

I liked that one remix of Hybrid Theory about 5 years ago.

not as good as hybrid theory/meteora/reanimation but still way better than that piece of shit that was minutes to midnight.  Although all the speeches and interludes were annoying and pointless. And linkin park never disappeared, every album they put out has sold extremely well. 

That's disappointing, I picked up the deluxe edition yesterday...hopefully there are some solid cuts on there.

I don't like the cd much. One of the things I was most fond of in their musics were the lyrics, and now they are either absent or coded into the trance beat. Disappointing... 

Linkin Park seems to be one of those bands that are well received around the world. Especially in the Asia countries. Obviously in the US they aren't as well received. but i still love them.

I listened to the iTunes previews and didn't care for it. It was the same as Minutes to Midnight.

I bought the album, some songs are good but this is definitely not a rock album. I hope that there next album has a mix of their old stuff and new stuff.

A gave this album a listen when I worked the midnight release of Halo Reach at Hastings.  I thought that a thousand cats were getting raped by robots in my ears.  

I like Linkin Park a lot. But that first single that was released was just god awful. Even if the rest of the cd is okay, that song turned me off from it completely.

Listened to it, it's trash. What happened to LP? Hybrid Theory was brilliant, but they've just diluted themselves into garbage since.

Holy crap! Dude! I haven't seen you on here in fuckin forever! Hell... then again when you think about it, you don't really see any of the old members that much.....  Yeah first two albums were actually quite good (My tastes personally) but this album... Hell I didn't even know it had been released, I heard the single "Catalyst" and thought it was shit so I just didn't care. Kinda surprised that they went through with this album though... "

If anyone is under 17 and a fan of Linkin Park I forgive you.  Hell I use to listen to Godsmack, Blink 182, and Korn but once you hit 17 it is time to knock that shit off.
