I sunk perhaps over 100 hours into Mass Effect 1 and loved it despite the flaws.I adored the characters, the settings, the lesb-er I mean dialogue, definitely the dialogue. Most of all I loved the the way Bioware melded all these things together. ME 2 LITERALLY fixed all the minor complaints while keeping the things I love, making it my #1 game this year.

Now I like a good western (I thought the 2005 game "Gun" was an unappreciated gem). Red Dead is everything I want from a western, six shooters, hats, horses and whores. I guess it doesn't take a lot to please me really.

I'll come clean, I may be a tiny bit obsessed with the "Persona" series. I have over 150 hours in both "Persona 4" AND "Persona 3:FES". I have also re watched the Endurance Run far too many times (seriously, I can quote them word for word). So imagine my mixed feelings of happiness and dread when I picked this up; happiness that I could play P3 again and dread because I would have to say goodbye to my family for another month.

I like games that make you feel like a badass so obviously "Assassins Creed: Brotherhood" is on this list, any objections?

This game had it's flaws (good lord it did), but as soon as the Anamanaguchi soundtrack kicks in and the adorable sprites on the screen start beating each other up I just go all gooey inside. That's right, GOOEY.

No other game will make you feel SO helpless and SO pant-shittingly scared while at the same time not even SHOWING YOU THE ENEMY.
Seriously, this game ripped my manhood to ribbons in a matter of minutes.

I'm shocked to say that this game is some of the most fun I've had all year, a great launch game that proves Kinect could be something special if it tried to be.
