They talked about it on the Bombcast this week. Seems the guy in charge of a certain file sharing site that was just taken down recently was super rich and "the best CoD player in the world." I wasn't paying too close attention to that section. Think they described him as a crazy asshole or something along those lines.

You picked names that someone could understandably be offended by or could be considered vulgar. Not too surprising that they were reported.

I think it will be a sequel and this is just Capcom not being accurate enough/making a mistake with the time between this and RE 2 and 3. Remember the very first image that was released during the reveal of Metal Gear Rising? It was just a close up of his face and the game logo in front of a black background. In that picture Raiden had brown eyes, but in MGS4 you can clearly see he has blue eyes. This led a lot of people to believe that it was actually Grey Fox or someone out. But no, it was just them fucking up and giving him the wrong eye color.  And that is what this could totally be. 
 
That is what I am going to believe until they come and say the words "This is a prequel to Resident Evil 5." It being a prequel would bum me out a little bit because I was genuinely interested in where they take the fiction now that Wesker is out of the way. The world turning to shit and erupting into all out BOW war is a pretty cool new direction in my book. Are they unrelated incidents or were they masterminded by some new threat?  This looks to be a great setup to raise new questions and change games core storyline without having to do a full on reboot. We get a story that isn't related to Umbrella and Wesker, so it is easy for new players to come into. At the same time we can keep things like the Ada and Leon thread that would appeal to long time fans, but isn't necessary to know all the back story to understand the going ons of the game.
 
If it is a sequel then this is where they are taking this and future installments. It is bold and interesting. If it is a prequel then it is just three crazy incidents that happened at around the same time, but its cool because everything clearly worked out OK in the end.

It is either HUNK or someone totally new that we have never heard of before. I don't see any reason to ever bring back Steve. He was annoying and then he died. Character arc over.

I might get it. I might. I haven't seen anything to really sell me on it yet, but I like the series as a whole and continue to give it chances to get back in my good graces. The first SC might be my favorite fighting game ever, and I liked the others well enough. None of the sequels have really pulled me in, but they are still fun. I might buy it if reviews give me enough reason to believe it is better than IV, which I was really underwhelmed with.

Kilik. I just love the way he gets up on that pole.

Didn't Nintendo release a patch you can download that fixes the glitch? You should probably get that instead of trashing your Wii if things go wrong. Anyway, just don't do the desert area first. Crisis averted.
