I still hold the unpopular opinion of thinking the Uncharted games aren't that great. They have great set pieces, but all the enemies are bullet sponges who don't stagger at all when shot. The combat is just not fun at all.
As a person who throws in Uncharted 2 to this day, I can confirm people stagger and flinch when shot. The first game had sponges, the other two did not.
On the bright side, I heard a lot of good sounding music from bands I had never heard of before. Lots of the metal, rap, punk, and indie rock sounded well selected, and the soundtrack list is replete with musical entities I have never heard of before.
