What up folks. This is going to be my summary post for my PS3 play in the last while since I took a break from blogging. Warning: It's a biggy...
According to my last PS3 update I was working on God of War, God of War 2, inFamous, KillZone 2, and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune.
Previous Trophy Stats on those games were as follows...
- God of War - 77% Complete
- God of War 2 - 55% Complete
- inFamous - 64% Complete
- KillZone 2 - 1% Complete
- Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - 71% Complete
Now it's been almost a year since I last updated my PS3 so let's get this stuff updated and summarized...
- God of War - 77% Complete
Sadly, this stat hasn't changed, I haven't put God of War 1 back in the PS3 since my last update, so not much to summarize on this one.
- God of War 2 - 55% Complete
Again, no updates on this one. Sorry Kratos.
- inFamous - 70% Complete (Up from 64%)
First big update! I actually picked this game up again last week to try and polish off some rough edges on my Hero playthrough. As read in my last blog, I was sitting at 294/350 Blast Shards and I actually managed to pick up the remaining 56 in about 4 hours of exploring. The last blast shard was hard to find as it does not show up on your mini-map while pinging away. Grabbing all 350 netted me the "Rockhound" Bronze Trophy, which I thought should at least be a Silver. Speaking of Silvers I also managed to pick up the "Stunt Master" Trophy for completing all 21 "stunts" in the game. The last inFamous trophy I picked up was the "Evil Eats" Bronze Trophy for not sharing the food with the civilians during the first Moral Choice in my Evil run through.
- RockHound - Find 100% of the Shards - Bronze
- Evil Eats - Bad guys never share their food - Bronze
- Stunt Master - Complete all of the stunts on the stunt list - Silver
- KillZone 2 - 26% Complete (Up from 1%)
Huge update on KillZone 2. I originally picked up KillZone 2 and put it right back down because I was getting a little motion sickness from the motion blur. I picked it back up and managed to chew my way through the entire campaign, netting me 9 Campaign (Trophies), and the "Survivor" Silver Trophy for completing the campaign on any difficulty. Here's a list of all the trophies I've picked up in KillZone 2, I don't know how many more I'll unlock due to the extreme amount of Multiplayer Trophies. Anyways, get your reading goggles on. PS3 Purchases
While not on the same scale as my XBOX 360 purchases, I have picked up a few PS3 games since my last update.
- God of War 3 - Special Collector's Edition
I've had God of War 3 since before my last big update, but I didn't even open it. Now I've actually completed the story and unlocked some extra trophies on the side. It was a pretty amazing ending to the God of War trilogy, but I'm fairly certain that after God of War: Origins comes out on the PS3 that God of War 4 will be announced.
- inFamous 2 - Hero Edition
I picked this up for 90 bucks at Wal-Mart the other day. Got my fancy orange messenger bag which just happens to fit my 17" MacBook Pro. Not that I'll be doing any fancy parkour anytime soon. But when I do, I've got the bag for it. The Hero Edition also came with a pretty sweet looking Cole statue and the first inFamous Comic Book.
I was extremely stoked for the release of the first REAL SOCOM game on the PS3 and to my surprise, I haven't played all that much.
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
This was a pretty silly purchase, I've never played a Metal Gear Solid game in my life. But it was 7 bucks. I don't have any idea what's going on. None. Also, NO TROPHIES.
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
So amazing. That's all there is to say.
