Oh noes! There is only one way to prevent Nintendo's destruction... we must kill Bob! Get your pitchforks and torches people, we've got a game developer to lynch!
All games are art. The mistake that many do is assuming that to be art, video games must be like other art forms. Games that don't look like paintings, have stories like books or the cinematography of movies aren't considered art. Sure, these thing might improve the quality of a game, but they do in no way affect it's status as art.
"Don't get one, please. There are no good games, and even the ones you listed, with the exception of Patapon, are not that memorable. You can let one game slide right? You will regret it."
The worst part is that Bamco has said that they're gonna focus more on Western audiences. Thing is, instead of localizing all their awesome Japan-only games, they've created a new studio to create games specifically aimed at us. I'm guessing crappy FPSs and the like...(again, could you please provide a link to the article?)
Sad, but there's nothing we can do about it. I'm really pissed at Namco Bandai though, this isn't exactly the first time they've screwed us over when it comes to their games. Oh, and can you provide a link to the article?
