Games I'd like to see sequels to.

In no particular order. I've left out games that are pretty much guaranteed to get sequels.

Mushihimesama Futari technically has a sequel (it isn't a shmup though >_<) called Mushihimesama Bug Panic on the iPhone. It's not a Shmup, but rather an adventure game with some elements of bullet hell. It's still a pretty good game regardless though.

I'm sure they'll make a true sequel at some point, considering the popularity of the series.

Good list as a whole. I agree with almost everything on there (and the only ones I don't are the ones I haven't played yet and have no idea about)

@Solarus: I know about Bug Panic, but it's just not really what I mean when I say I want a sequel to Futari.

@Icemael: I know, that`s why I clarified in my post. I agree that another Mushihimesama bullet hell shmup should be made (and I`m sure it will be).

Does Braid really need a sequel? What would it be about?

@ImmortalSaiyan: Couldn't care less, really. The primary thing is that I want new, trickier puzzles and possibly a new power or two.

@Icemael: Fair enough, the puzzles are fantastic and expanding of the mechanics and general design would be nice. What I loved about Braid more then the puzzles taken by them self is how everything in that game from the music, visual and even the story fit together to make a cohesive whole. I love the tone of it all.

Either way I don't think Jonathan Blow is the type to make sequels so it's a moot point. Hopefully the witness has the same great puzzle design.
