Another week and I'm still unable to watch the stream. I figured a last bump could be worth it even though there's absolutely no feedback from anyone actually at Giant Bomb, which I have to say doesn't exactly make me jump with glee and throw my money towards a membership to the site.

Anyways, since some people can switch browsers (something that doesn't work for me anymore) I'm guessing that a Flash-update or a codec issue is at fault here.

Also; merry christmas everyone!

I'm not entirely sure that we're all experiencing the same issue here. For clarification: when I watch the archived streams, as soon as there is movement, there seems to be an issue where the last videoframe is shown again (I guess) which results in really what looks like really jerky motions. Again, I don't have this problem with any videos (in or outside Justin.tv) as far as I know, which makes me believe that there's something with the way the videos are encoded that are causing the issue.

Also, I have been able to watch the archived streams just fine with Safari (the problem was using Chrome or Firefox) until last thursday and now I have the same issues in that browser as well. This could also suggest that a update of Flash is what's causing it.

I highly doubt that a connection speed has anything to do with it, particularly since I can't seem to stream anything at the moment and have to resort to pausing and letting it buffer before playing. (God damned ISP)

Chiming in on this issue, no problems watching from a Windows-machine but somethings wonky when I use Mac OS. Oddly enough, up until a week ago I could use Safari and the archived stream would run just fine but sometime between then and now that workaround stopped working as well. I'm guessing there's some weird encoding issue because trying some random streams on Justin.tv didn't give me any trouble.

So; Chrome, Firefox and Safari is a no-go for me. Running Flash  10.1.103.19 in Chrome.

Just to echo what's already been noted; if his design duties are done when he leaves, what does it matter? It's still his work and overall design and the exact same thing goes for DeathSpank. Even if Ron isn't employed at Hothead, it's still his game.

More to the point, the parts I liked about Black was the shooting and as long as that carries over I'll probably pick this up. I won't pick it up for full price though. I would probably be more inclined to do that if it was a arcade-y XBLA title, but whatever.
