I keep seeing people say that if they didn't do the pay wall they would be working for free, is this true? Do they not get a paycheck from CBS or the ads or do they have to pay CBS for the building that they are in? just curious.
they are a lot more free to do the sorts of things we demand. In fact, it's in their interest to entertain us.
are they meeting that demand? i mean it's kind of become a running joke when people ask for an endurance run (for the record I don't give two fucks about endurance runs) and yet they still don't do it also they no longer do TNT I am pretty sure that if you ran a vote of people who wanted that back the overwhelming response would be yes, and still nothing I really don't see a reason why they couldn't stream and hour of something every day but then again I am not privy to the inner workings of Giant Bomb.

I really want to get my hands on this game, part of that is wanting an online multiplayer game with more than 3 colors and no wholesale murdering. (just so sick of games that are just about shooting people)
Just my opinion but putting video of people playing video games behind a pay wall is a little sleazy. I have no problem with commercials an ads because I do realize that there is a bit of effort that goes into recording a video but I just can't get behind paying to watch someone play a game, but to each their own I guess.
I also tend to think that when you put a pay wall up you tend to divide your community as evident by this thread.
