Will there be an episode where Ryo just sits at a bench for an entire day waiting to talk to 1 person then calls it a night? Because that honestly sounds like a killer episode.
I've learned this from the threads that pop up what feels like every month of some streamer asking how to get a game listed on Twitch. It's a very bizarre situation.
This is a huge bummer but also just extremely confusing? I guess Nintendo was about due for another extremely Nintendo decision, hadn't had one in a while.
Entirely too much time spent on MSN and random touch typing games that are probably lost to time were probably the two biggest teachers for me. I use home row but the weird quirk I've never managed to get rid of is sometimes using my index finger to hit the spacebar.
As far as typing games go, since you already mentioned Typing of the Dead I'll shout out Epistory as a great typing game. It's generally less intense so can be great for learning and consciously thinking about how you're typing while still being a pretty enjoyable game.
Ridiculous Fishing and Luftrausers will probably remain fairly high up in my regard for some of the best gameplay loops of all time. It's a bummer to hear this news but it sounds like Ultra Bugs is still coming out so I'll patiently wait for that and wish Rami and Jan all the best in what sounds like a move to more exciting things.
It's been a long time since I played it but the first thought that jumped out at me was that the pacing was terrible. The open world wasn't a massive detriment in my eyes but by the end of the game it had definitely hurt the game more than it helped.
I was pretty disappointed by DA:I at the time, it had a pretty bland story and few characters that I really ended up caring about. I think I was also pretty baffled by how it didn't leverage the massive amount of set-up that DA2 did and instead focused its plot on something else entirely. The ending was quite bad, salvaged somewhat by the DLC.
I still wouldn't call it a bad game necessarily, and I enjoyed my time with it well enough, but I came away liking it less than DA2 which seemed like an impossibility at the time of its release.
Maybe I'm off base but it seems to me like there's a fairly large difference with selling variations on a widely available basic product and 'profiteering'. Maybe it's just because wearing a mask is so normal where I live but people like wearing things they think look nice, masks included. A GB mask isn't something I would wear personally but don't really see the problem with it if we're fine with them selling T-Shirts.
