I agree man this game is awesome, I'd love to see an exact remake of this, just remake the graphics in sprite form, change nothing about the gameplay, maybe improve the interface a little, make it a little more user friendly make it compatible with modern OS's and that would be GOTY, easy right.

Thats pretty unlikely but to show you how much I love this game Ive bought it roughly 5 times now altogether, I've never once finished it lol.  Might have to get down to that at some point :S

To throw my input here, the guides seem to freeze and get bent all out of shape when i resize my browsers window.  I've even had text floating outside where text should be, I'm not sure if this is a site issue or a guide issue but an issue nonetheless.  I'm not too bothered about the text thing but it is kinda annoying.  The real problem is the freezing,

Also there seems to be some bugs with inserting text into a section that only contains images, it could be something to do with resizing those images after adding the text I'm not really sure.

Oh and I'm using Google Chrome on a Vista machine if that helps

EDIT: Damnit, Just after I posted this I went back to continue with my guide and its frozen, I can't even copy and paste when I've done onto a notepad, if I could do that I'd be happy.  Man I've lost a hell of a lot of work there, please fix this guys

Just to add a little more useful information Chrome told me that the page was using too much memory and the scripts had stopped working.  I had to refresh to get the page working again but everything I'd done had gone :'(

How the hell do I get my allies to come follow me or whatever in the space phase?  I've unlocked 2 slots now and I have no idea how to fill them up.  I keep getting my ass kicked and 2 more space ships would definetely help.

Ignore the spice mines man, empty your city out and completely abuse the factories.  Every factory thats next to either the town hall or a house gives you an extra 400 gold a minute.  If you really push it you can crank out 6 vehicles before anybody manges to attack you and then rush the closest one, rinse and repeat the factory farming.  Unfortunately this does leave you way open to religious units tho so make sure you have a good defense or turrets and some land vehicles.  Also forget the air units, they die way too fast to justify them, with the military route at least.

Wow that is really bad, Giant Bomb doesn't need this sort of crap.  Its got plenty already :P  but in all seriousness someone should look through this guys submission history and see if he does this a lot, if he does take away his ability to make stuff.

"I like chrome a lot, it's still in beta but it runs all the sites I go to faster than Fire Fox does. The only thing I don't like is how it shows recently viewed links and most visited sites on the start up window... Thats a total no no if you go to the sites I go to."
Click the page button up the top next to the wrench and click on start new incognito tab.  This acts just like a normal tab but it doesnt save your history or cookies, means nothing will show up on the home page then.
Thats awesome but my favorite thing is when sites crash it doesn't totally close all windows and tabs and lose everything your doing but only the tab that crashes crashes.  A task manager for a web browser is a great idea.  It seems like its got a lot of great features I never knew I wanted and that I'll use a lot, and damn this thing is fast compared to firefox.  I wonder how long it'll be until google releases an OS, seems like a matter of time really.

The series did take a serious dive in realism when they dropped Red Storm.  Yes you still get killed in one shot, but that doesn't make a game realistic.  The GRAW games are bad for a number of different reasons, they've both got crappy AI, quite a bad cover system and they are  far to easy compared to the original game.  At least Rainbow Six Vegas kept the difficulty.

After trying to play this game recently on my new Vista PC I found that the game cannot load.  Its got some crazy graphical problems where it seems like its been squashed to about in inch tall.  Anyway after messing about for a bit I found this solution on the internets.  Thought I'd post the link so its easier to find, both for me and everybody else lol

I agree man using this map to create single player levels created by players, uploaded to a file share or something like that and then played against the AI would be sweet.  Just to make it perfect, if they allowed coop levels... That would be awesome
