Just stick with simple and easy. Giant Bomb, that way people who are looking for it can easily find it.

A double release this week. This episode I talk about the three different shops in Dota 2 and how you should use them. Next weeks episode will be the warding episode, going over a bunch of stuff about warding.

I released Episode 5 a little early since it goes along with last weeks "Welcome to the Jungle" video. I will still release another episode on the usual time on Friday if you want to subscribe to the F.3 channel and it will show up on there.

I am still taking requests for episodes! The next 3 lined up are the Shops, Warding, and Laning. After that it is wide open to whatever people want to see.

Episode 4 is out today. I went over the jungle and what you need to know about it! Episode 6 and 7 are recorded as well. One goes over the shop, secret shop, and the side shop. The other is all about warding, going over some of the more common ward spots and why you want to have wards in that area.

@davidwitten22: No you are not alone, it is hard to watch. Mechanics and gameplay knowledge are just so low that it is hard to tune in other then hoping for a good laugh. I think the time could be better spent if he was doing a learning type thing where someone coaches him through playing. But the way it is now, there is lots of Dota content out there and there is no real reason to watch Daily Dota Stuff.

@hellbound: Thats the goal! A lot of the guides out there require to much time commitment. Even Purge's guide of "Welcome to Dota You Suck" covers a lot, but is a intimidating long read. It is a hell of a lot easier to flip these on, watch a few videos which explains and shows you stuff...then dive on in.

I just released another episode of Dota for Dummies. This one I talk about hero roles and give new players a set of new heros to play first.

@clush: That is generally the experience for most. When you get 10 people together, it increases the chance that 1 of them will be an idiot. You can play 5 games a night and maybe get 1 bad experience out of those 5, except people tend to only remember the bad experiences. It is always a shame when someone dwells one that one troll / bad person and lets them ruin the whole game for them. Just make sure to use the ignore button / report system whenever you come across someone nasty and just keep playing with the cool people.

You should give this video I did a watch, it pretty much will answer most of your questions. (It's in another thread, but I'll link it anyways). It will go over deny, courier, hot keys, and stash. It's the first of a series I am creating directed at brand new players.
