I was initially afraid that this game was not going to be another title like SotN or the the post Gameboy releases. But, as an avid fan I had to pick this game up and I'm having a wicked time! Like LordXavierBritish said, get some bros to go online with you and it's definitely a blast. I spent countless hours on the first two maps alone, and as a side note the replayability feels reminiscent to that of the L4D games. I feel bad that this title is getting so much shit for not being a SotN repolishing.

Calling me delusional? I'm simply saying that everything comes from some sort of inspiration. I am not quite as naive as you claim. You attack someone who's message I don't believe you see where I'm coming from. My military examples are actual things where the video game inspiration has been admitted. You cannot all possibly believe that the fantastic things that happen in video games have no affect on real life?

In a dark, cold, anti-awesome dimension, what would our world be like if video games would have never been thought of. I know a few smart asses out there are saying, "Read a book, get out and play some sports!", but I feel the absence of this form of entertainment would change the world in incredible and terrible ways. Right now, sadly, our country is locked in a brutal war. Our military think tanks are churning out some wicked future tech for our soldiers, most of which are inspired from recent video games. Active camouflage, super-suits, incredibly light weight armour... wait a second, I've played that before!
Apart from a military stand-point, how about our space programs? What kind of inspiration have games from Space Battle to Mass Effect given NASA? Will we one day have Mass Relays?
Many large businesses have, for years now, been applying a video game like facade to employee progression with "achievements" and "experience" which tells the employer who's hardcore and who's just trolling.
Sure I could go on, but by now I'm sure you have much you would like to say so please, I would love to have this be a large discussion, but lets keep it friendly as well, thanks!

If you know anything about MW2, then you have heard the uproar many fans have started with paying 15 bucks for 5 maps. Now everyone is fairly entitled to their own opinion, and yes, I wasn'tt happy with it either, but allow me to analyze the real value. 5 maps. OK so we all know 5 is not a very large number in most respects, but the fact is that the 5 is representing maps, large playgrounds to add to your war murder needs. Even though 2 are old favorites, that should not take away the value or void the fact that once you pay that 15 bucks, those maps are yours! Use division and you now have 3 bucks a map, which when you look at it that way, that seems like a decent value to me. Now if they would have taken the Gears of War 2 route, and re-skinned the old maps, the question of value would seem rediculous to me. Now I'm a 21 year old guy, working register at my local Wal-Mart. I pay bills, I have needs. But if I am a serious enough MW2 player where I feel that I really want these maps, where I know I will spend countless hours calling in UAVs, then 15 dollars seems like a great deal to me. Trust me, I've payed $20 for a lot worse. So hopefully I made my point clear, and all who disagree won't look at this as a beckon for argument. I 100% understand why you will not all agree with me, and I would appreciate any input from your side.

Wow, this got a great response. I understand all criticisms too. I appreciate all the input from both sides of the discussion.

I have been maining Sagat since Super Street fighter and I was challenging people when I was like 7 years old. I have gotten very good with him, but now when I use him in a public competitive setting, I'm looked down upon and booed. I think this is extremely unfair, as I have come along way from not being able to do a tiger uppercut to being able to predict my opponents every move and act upon it appropriately.

Mortal Kombat VS DCU was actually a neat and well executed idea of smashing to seperate mediums together. Soul Caliber has also done well with their interesting crossover cameos. Tell me though, what comics worlds, movies, books, etc., would you like to see in which fighting series. I would love to see the Watchmen in a fighting game, but what is a dark and suiting fighter for them?

So naturally I feel a movie should be as close to 2 hours as possible, as to not be unbearably long, but to also have time to get it's point across. Then I realized, my two favorite movies of all time, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly;  and The Watchmen, were both well over three hours long. I'm pretty sure Avatar was headed towards three hours as well. Could three hours be long enough to give a movie a chance to be something so epic, or am I just crazy?
