1. Beyond Oasis
Until recently i didnt realise i had played this. It couldnt remember the name of it and it was called "The Story of Thor" over here in England. Then recently i tried out this "Beyond Oasis" game from Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection on the Xbox and i was over the moon, turns out it still actually is a good game, havnt got around to finishing it again yet though. Did some research and found Beyond Oasis is the american name, which is whay it never clicked when i was looking through the list of games. |

2. Chuck Rock II: Son of Chuck
Spent alot of time on this. I also remember cheating. Had the Amiga version, there was a super jump cheat, it was possible to completley break the game with a never ending jump. It became quite buggy with the cheat. I cant remember it it was a cheat or an exploit, and i was 7, with no Internet connection, not sure how i found it. Played it again a while back. Its still pretty solid, not as enjoyable as i remember but there isnt really anything wrong with it, solid platformer. The animation style and music are still amazing though. |

3. Valhalla and the Lord of Infinity
And the rest of the series... Voice acting! Thats what drew me in, and the way the playable character broke the 4th wall, or in this case, the roof. It had a certain charm to it, and as a child i found the atmosphere (and the skulls) extremely terrifying. Vulcan software started remaking them a while back. Still a great puzzle game, but now that i am older (and the graphics seem dated) it dosnt have the same atmosphere it once had. |

4. The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants
Games are getting a bit older now, i fidn it difficult to remember alot of games from this period but this always stuck in my mind. Pink aliens, trying to steal everything that was pink, or something along those lines. Havnt played it since way back when and i NEVER got past the beginning of the second level. Im not sure why i played it so much, i guess it got me used to the grind of MMOs that i somehow endure today. |

5. The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare
I enjoyed the first level on Bart vs the Space Mutants SO much that i rented this game, and in the few days i had it i got infintly further than the previously mentioned game. Somehow this game is almost crystal clear in my head, even though i havnt played it since and games ive played in the mid 90s are a blur. It must have been good. |

6. Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge
Split screen on a PC! Dont see that much anymore, was almost exclusivley how me and my family played this game. Didnt play another racing game as much until Colin McRae Rally 2... Yeah, didnt play alot of racing games. Still alot of fond memories playing this. I know its going to be terrible now though, so i dont wanna go and play it again and ruin it. |

7. Snoopy and Peanuts
Or, as i knew it Snoopy: The Case of the Missing Blanket. Turns out there is no info on giantbomb. Tried adding a little bit. This was a puzzle/adventure/platforming kind of game. Although not strictly point n click it worked in a similar way. Never quite finished all of the game, there were areas where there was clearly something to do, but i couldnt figure it out and it didnt even seem important in the end. Havnt played it since, heard from many people its not very good. Dont wanna ruin the memories. |

8. James Pond 2: Codename: RoboCod
Didnt realise this got remade so many times. Thought it was kind of obscure. I believe i played it on an Atari. Fish based puns and platforming... Need i say more? |

9. Superfrog
PRODUCT PLACEMENT. And people complain about product placement now? Dont people remember this? And Cool Spot! The whole game was an advertisement. Anywho, me and a friend played this game alot. Basic platforming while collecting shiny stuff and some powerups. Was fun though, havnt gone back to it since. Like most basic platformers from the 80/90s its still probably a pretty solid game. |

|
10. Prehistorik
How did i almost forget this!? Its got a k on the end! How rad is that! Anywho, was a great action based platformer with Dinosaurs n whatnot. Similar to Chuck Rock 2, it had a very distinct animation style and music during bosses which for some reason, i just love. Havnt played it since, i really want to but im cautious. |

11. LEGO Island
Bit later than the rest of the games, and seems to be a bit of a minor Internet meme now but it was one of the first games i had when we changed over to a Windows based PC. I think i might actually still have the original copy hiden away somewhere. |
|
|
12. Cannon Fodder
This, and the sequel. Enjoyed them alot, havnt played the remakes but played the original on an AmigaOS emulator not long ago and it still quite fun. Seems to be more difficult than i remember though, which is strange since most other games im nostalgic about are alot easier than i remember. |

13. Flashback: The Quest for Identity
Almost forgot this one for a while. Was amazed that it came on so many floppy disks! I think there was one for each level/area. Tried to play it again recently but the controls seemed horrible and it seems to be ALOT more difficult than i remember. This is one of the few games i actually finished as a child... multiple times. It seems doubtful that i would manage it again. |
