so i saw watchmen the other day and here is what i thought.

- From the director of 300 Zack Synder and story is In a gritty and alternate 1985 the glory days of costumed vigilantes have been brought to a close by a government crackdown, but after one of the masked veterans is brutally murdered an investigation into the killer is initiated. The reunited heroes set out to prevent their own destruction, but in doing so discover a deeper and far more diabolical plot.
This movie was something i was scared of, was it going to wreck my memories of the graphic novel. but these 2 things a different and thats good the book is good and so is the movie. The First scene in the movie sets it up and how enjoyable this movie is and sets up this film and how hardcore it will be. after the fight with the comedian it has the coolest credits scene ever. watching this film i don't know i would have enjoyed if i had not read the book. This is not a x-men film and is not for kids because you just look at the sex and blood in this film and you see why (i had someone who had a baby with them i knew it would cry and it did and i just want to know why ?). but this movie is not perfect there is 3 reasons and that doesn't include the person with a baby crying but luck the baby only started crying near the end of the film but still why ? but one things i hated was how the end draged on by the end it just draged on. the film should have been trimmed down. I didn't mind the ending and its a cool change. Also i did like the slomo but by the end i was kind of sick of it.
This film is great i loved the blood and Most of the actors but Malin Akerman can't act but she was there to show off how hot she was and she had an awesome sex scene. So people complain about the ,music in the movie but i loved it it was good music and they were placed where needed and fitted. Also the effect were awesome like always these days. i really loved the story of this film and i love Rorschach and i loved him in the graphic novel and the actor who plays him was awesome. he is badass and when he is in the prsion and that scene with him in the toilet is just awesome.
Also how this movie progress its great because the book is full of flashbacks which is good for this film i really like all the actors preformances and all the characters were great and wasn't usless but i was kind of dissapointed with the Comedians rape scene but i unstand it but it was still a great scene. i really like the comedians preformance it was great and i loved how evil he was but he was good guy because he also dies at the start of the film and used in flashbacks. but what i really like about the film is how all these characters are in imporant storylines in history.
because i new most of the scenes from the book because most of this film is shot by shot of the book, so nothing really shocked me but the hardcore gory scenes. like the one in jail where the guy gets his 2 arms sawed off. but anyway also the ending i knew who the villian was the mysterious villian and the ending but they chaged the ending and that was a good thing for me because the ending in the book kind of would not work but it could if they wanted but i do like this ending better. it was great and also shocked me a bit also i love Rorschach and Dan's relationship and when he dies its a great scene and i really didn't want him to die but i knew he was. also they better not do another one.
Overall i loved this movie, it did have faults but i loved this film i still like the book and i love this movie. so i am not ahrdcore fanboy but i just enjoyed the dialouge the story and the scenes and the feeling of this movie. how gritty this movie is. tje chaarcters how they bring this whole thing from the book to screen zack did a good job and looking forward what he id doing next and i can tell some of these actors will be doing some big things. also Malin is hot now after watching this and her sex scene was awesome and to the song Hallelujah, this movie was just great and i can't wait to see it again i took my time seeing it but i loved every moment of this film and it had it flaws but if your geek and you love super hero films see it. - 9.5/10
so i was talking to Brad on MSN and he gave me idea to do a update on video games im excited for so here it plus some movies im excited for. also the number near the same is what it was on my list last time.

10. Ghostbusters The Videogame (N)
story - The game will put players in the role of a new recruit to the Ghostbusters team, just as Manhattan is overrun with supernatural monsters. Players will be given several weapons, including one that allows the player to manipulate objects by shooting them with sticky slime tethers and anchoring them to the level geometry.
why i want it - well first i wasn't excited for it but after watching video's on it and hearing stuff about the game it has sparked my interest in it. just what you can do and the story and the main characters from the movie are in it and its like ghostbusters 3 so im now excited and i have always wanted to be a ghostbuster and you playing a new recruit is cool. Just catching ghosts has to be cool.
9.God Of War 3 (5)
Story - The story picks up directly after the end of God of War II with Kratos riding on top of the Titan Gaia, headed towards mount Olympus, so that Kratos can get his revenge on Zeus and all the other Gods. In the process of attempting to get his revenge, Kratos will reignite the war between the Titans and the Gods. Because of this the Titans will be ever present. Kratos will occasionally be riding on top the Titans, which are said to be bigger then the Sears tower in Chicago, and sometimes he will be fighting along side them, with giant Titanic hands smashing around Kratos, helping him rid his enemies and fight side by side against the Gods. When he isn't in direct contact with the Titans, they will be in the background, fighting their own battles. There are also other elements, to the story that have yet to be revealed.
Why i want it - well i love god of war games and just to see kratos back causing chaos im all for. and seeing these titan things is going be interesting and to see what new things they can bring im all for.
8.Yakuza 3 (N)
Story -
The Yakuza wars are spreading over to the tropical paradise of Okinawa. After leaving his last base in Kamimuro Chou, Kiryuu Kazuma went to Okinawa and opened an orphanage named Asagao with Haruka. Together with the children they have taken in, the two slowly let go of the violent lives they have led prior to their arrival. However, the happy days are short lived for the Yakuza are tightly connected with the Japanese government. A shady deal that involves the land which Asagao is built on spurs Kiryuu and Haruka back to their old home town and fights with oppositional Yakuza groups. Fights and political intrigue comes hand in hand.
why i want it - i have played some of the first one and liked it and what i have seen of this i really like and im excited for this game and i do like the gangster theme and looks really fun i hope it comes out over here.
7.Prototype (N)
Story - Prototype is an action/adventure game that uses the "sandbox" gameplay present in games such as Grand Theft Auto and Spider-Man. You play as the result of a secret government experiment in which you have been infected with a virus that grants the protagonist, Alex Mercer the ability control all aspects of his genetic structure. The virus used on Alex is somehow released and is taking control of New York City.
In an attempt to prevent the infection from spreading the United States Military has declared marshall law and has made New York City a quarantined zone, effectively sealing the area from the outside world. You are in the middle of this war and have lost all of your memory. Your main goal in the game is to learn your identity and how you are involved with the infection. You have many different powers at your disposal which will aid you throughout the course of the game.
Why i want it - this game just looks like a lot of fun, doing all that stuff and just looks fun in a open world game and just looks great and what you can do just looks fun.
6. Heavy Rain (3)
Story - Heavy Rain is an action adventure game, currently projected for release in 2009 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive. While much about the game is unknown, a website called GamerPro released their preview of the game, proclaiming "(it) is still graphically impressive so far".
Why i want it - I really like Fahrenheit and i live adventure games and this looks goos and witrh story and by the trailer it looks good.
5. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (4)
Story - The last game focused on Francis Drake; this game focuses on another well known historical figure, Marco Polo, who was said to have documented and recorded all the information from all but one of his voyages. That one undocumented trip was when Polo left Kublai Khan's court and was headed for Venice, commanding a fleet of 14 treasure-laden ships and a crew of 600-plus men. It seemed like a normal trip but by the time he arrived home in Venice, Polo was down to one ship and 18 survivors. He never revealed what happened and on his death bed, when people were questioning some of his writings, he exclaimed: '" didn't say even half of what I saw." This mysterious quote will be explored in the game as Drake tries to uncover the truth.The game will also focus on finding a powerful wish-granting ruby,Cintamani Stone.
why i want it - the story of this game and the first one was awesome. pus with drake back and if its good as the first one and just longer i think i am going to love this game.
4.The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (7)
Story -The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a remake of the critically-acclaimed Xbox game Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay, developed by Starbreeze Studios . Initially it was said that Dark Athena would contain the entire story of the original game plus an additional chapter that will take place aboard a starship from which the title is derived. However, it has since been announced that there will be a second, full-sized campaign on top of the original's which takes even longer than original campaign to finish . In other word the original remake session literally counts as a bonus feature . Dark Athena is due for release in 2009.
Why i want it - I had the first one on x-box and never finished it. But now with the PS3 version i can finish it and with better graphics and extra stuff i am really excited for this movie. i really liked what i played on the x-box so i am very exited for this game.
3.Red Dead Redemption (N)
Story -You play as John Marston, a former outlaw.The prequel to 2004's Red Dead Revolver will feature a large open world with "strong plot lines in a massive vibrant, rural environment". Red Halow will not be the lead character for Red Dead Redemption but instead will be replaced by former outlaw named John Marston. Events will take place during the turn of the 20th century.
Why i want it -i love Read Dead Revolver and i so excited for this one because i love westerns an just to get a new western is awesome. can't wait for.
2. Batman: Arkham asylum (6)
Story -Details on the plot of Batman: Arkham Asylum are scarce at the moment but what is known is that players will begin the game escorting The Joker through the hallways and corridors of the mental hospital passing some of the facilities inmates along the way. The most notable of which is a vicious looking Killer Croc who is seen shackled in heavy chains and surrounded by multiple guards as they escort him through the Asylum. Eventually Batman hands The Joker over to the guards and orderlies of Arkham and proceeds to state to Commissioner Gordon something isn't right as The Joker handed himself in without much of, if any, fight at all. Still suspicious Batman watches from an observation room as The Joker is escorted by the Arkham staff to be incarcerated but somehow escapes his restraints, it has been rumoured Harley Quinn has a hand to play in this. The Joker taunts Batman for falling into his trap and flees deeper into the Asylum before the hero can break through the glass window of the observation room and chase after him.
Why i want it - every new thing i see on this game just gets me excited. a good batman game and i can't wait to play it and seeing the joker just looks great because you have to have joker as a villian in game.

Story - Empire City is rocked by an enormous explosion six blocks wide. In the center of the blast lies a man named Cole, who wakes up to find that he is the sole survivor of the explosion and that electricity is arcing throughout his body. In the aftermath of the explosion Empire City is tossed into turmoil as riots break out and criminals take over their own sections of the city. The government blocks off the city from the mainland and Cole is framed as the culprit of the explosion. Now a wanted man, Cole sets off with his newfound superpowers to rescue Empire City from plunging into complete darkness, and to find out who was really responsible for the explosion. While Cole is the main protagonist, the game will have a host of supporting characters such as Zeke, your sidekick and conspiracy theorist and Trish, Cole's love interest
Why i want it -infamous just looks awesome and sucker punch are a great devloper and just looks cool and i love the suer hero theme in the game and choosing the good side or the bad side. i am just excited for it.

10. The Goon (N)
Story - The Goon is a comic book series created by Eric Powell in 1999. The story is about the adventures of the Goon, a muscle-bound brawler who claims to be the primary enforcer for the feared mobster Labrazio. The Goon (and his sidekick Franky) often get tied up in other machinations, often in relation to the evil zombie gangs under the command of the Nameless Zombie Priest. The series has a distinctly paranormal slant, with the average story concerning ghosts, ghouls, skunk-apes, extra-dimensional aliens, and mad scientists.
Why i want to see it - well like the idea behind and the animation looks awesome and i really like the comic instead a live action movie we have a animated movie which is great idea for this movie and makes more sense.
9. The Crazies (N)
Story - A mysteriously contaminated water supply turns residents of a small Kansas town insane.
Why i want to see it - because i love the orginal but is dated and i would love to see a modern take on it and the cast is pretty cool.
8.Jonah hex (N)
Story - The adventures of a Wild West bounty hunter in the Wild West whose horrifically scarred face and personality hide his honorable nature.
Why i want to see it - well i love the comic and this story is crazy and with josh brolin and megan fox sign me up and in the west fighting zombies i so want this movie to be good.
7. Crank: High Voltage (N)
Story - Chelios faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.
Why i want to see it - well i loved the first one and i think this will be as crazy and im all up for some popcorn action fun oh yeah.
6. Sherlock Holmes (6)
Story - Detective Sherlock Holmes (Downey Jr.) and his stalwart partner Watson (Law) engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.
Why I want to see it - well with robert downey in this remake and just to bring sherlock with a modern twist is going to be cool.
5. Drag Me To Hell (N)
Story - A loan officer (Lohman) ordered to evict an old woman from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, who turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point.
Why i want to see it - because Sam Raimi is directing it abd he is back to horror which is awesome and trailer is awesome and the story is cool i am very excited for this movie.
4. Public enemies (9)
Story - The Feds try to take down notorious American gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd during a booming crime wave in the 1930s.
Why i want to see it - just it looks awesome in the trailer. Depp looks awesome and Christian Bale looks awesome and i love old school gangster movies and i have read stories on Dillinger.

Story - A team of mercenaries head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator.
Why I want to see it - just a big action fest with all b rated action stars i so want to see this, this is going to be so cool.
2. The Adventures of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn (N)
Story -The adventures of popular Belgian comic-strip hero Tintin and his faithful dog Snowy.
Why i want to see it - i love Tintin, the comics, the cartoon the adventure and stories i loved reading tintin and seeing the story on the big screen will be awesome and with a great cast im excited.

Story - In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.
Why i want to see it - Just one world Tarantino i am a fan of his and i will see anything he is involved with so i can't wait for this movie. plus i love WW2 stuff.

the Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3 - i love tony scott and this film is a clssic but it does need to be remade and it looks fun and trovolta looks bad ass.

so what have i been playing this week - more Killzone 2 online and just finishing up the single player mode. also started shadow of the colossus and first i did the wrong thing after i played killzone 2 and just started playing it and wasn't in the mood for it. so i played it the next day and really liked it i am just up to my first colossus so not that far into it. also been playing Discworld 2 trying to finish the game which i have never finished and really want to finish broke sword 2 again but since my last saved got wiped i have to start it again.
south park is back and the new ep is about the disney jonnas bros and is funny just making fun of disney and has mickey mouse in it not the best ep but still funny.
Movie Recomendition: Pusher Trilogy
- this trilogy is awesome and you can tell Rockstar games watched these and used some of the things for gta4. these movies are crazy but so good but are not for everyone so thats a warning but check it out. i am going to do a big write up, (review) on them when i have finished the 3rd one. check these movies out.
